We had an extremely disappointing experience with this pizza place tonight. We placed an order shortly after 7 PM, with the website stating delivery would be by 7:47 PM. The online pizza tracker showed our order progressing as baked and out for delivery, but 7:47 PM came and went with no sign of our pizza.

By 8:30 PM, it was clear the pizza wasn't coming. We called the restaurant multiple times, but our calls went straight to voicemail. The website, which is outsourced, had a chat feature, and even they were unable to reach the restaurant.

After waiting over an hour past the expected delivery time, we gave up and ordered from another local pizza place (Mr. Jim's), picking it up ourselves. To make matters worse, we couldn’t get a refund tonight and will now have to wait or dispute the charge through our credit card company.

This was an incredibly frustrating experience, and we cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. Reliable service and communication are essential, and this place failed on both counts. Avoid if you want your pizza delivered on time—or at all.

In response to your comment:

Thank you for your reply. However, we ordered directly through your website, which links to Slice, and when we encountered issues, Slice informed us they couldn’t even reach your restaurant to confirm the status of the order or process a refund.

Your website gave no indication that you were closed—it’s your responsibility to update your hours, disable online ordering, or place a notification near the “Order Online” button to avoid such situations. Expecting customers to verify whether your chosen service provider is functioning properly is unreasonable.

What’s most disappointing is the complete lack of accountability or even an apology for the inconvenience caused to us and the eight people you failed to serve, including four hungry kids. Instead, you’ve chosen to pass the blame onto a third party you’ve selected to handle online orders. This is unacceptable for a service-oriented business.

We hope you take this feedback seriously and take responsibility for ensuring this doesn’t happen to...

We had high hopes for this place, especially after seeing the prices. Unfortunately, none were met.nice walls and tables didn't make up for an otherwise fast food atmosphere, with being able to see the checkout lane and kit hen, or the pizzas under a heat lamp.

There were no napkins to be found, and no individual plates provided for the garlic bread, which, while crunchy and exquisite textural, had hardly any flavor.

We ordered the grilled fish plate and meat lasagna. Best part of the fish plate was the veggies, surprisingly, at least when they weren't covered in the sauce from the fish. They were seasoned wonderfully, and the sauce covered that up. While the fish was nice, between wildly random music, prices like Olive Garden, environment like a fancy Long John Silvers, and food like discount Chillis, this was not a repeatable experience.

Edit: 3/15/2022 I do see the reply from the restaraunt owner below this post, and I have to say you're handling your reviews very poorly. My husband and I did not order ahead, we placed our order at the counter and sat down to eat for dine in. This had been our plan from the start, and we answered dine-in when asked eating in or takeout.

My husband actually got up to get me silverware, and neither of us could find napkins.

You would do well in your business practice not to attack your customers for an honest review, it usually only proves the problems, especially when you do...

I'd like to say it was good, but it wouldn't be true. I had much hope, but it wasn't met. For having prices that rival other well known Italian restaurants, my first impression was having to go up to counter, and seeing pizza like you find in the mall. Large and under heat lamps for hours.

We were unable to find napkins at all. Food was brought to the table, and they never checked on us again. The food was mediocre. The bread was warm and fresh, but almost tasteless. This was a mid-afternoon visit, so they can't claim they were busy, only one other table was being used.

Since I can't reply.. NO, we did not place our order before we got there. It is pretty hard to order ahead when we didn't know what all was on your menu and that was our first visit. NO, you did not provide ANYTHING, I had to go up to the drink machine and get the forks and knifes. There were no wrapped sets of utensils in sight. We were NEVER informed it was self service. I don't care how long you've been in the community, my review was honest and accurate. But your response tells me that you had another customer who had close to the same issue. We did not choose self-service, whoever told you that...

Had another birthday dinner at a small Italian restaurant in Historic downtown of Irving. Quaint and cute place and all 6 of us ordered different dishes. We ordered Lasagna, Penna pasta with marinara sauce and chicken, Lobster bisque soup and lobster ravioli, chicken marsala, sunrise chicken pasta, and another dish with alfredo and wine sauce with chicken (don't remember the name of dish) and OMG everything was so delicious!! All were so delicious and generous proportions. For my birthday, they brought out the Tiramisu plate and played the birthday song overhead. We also bought the cannoli, baklava and the chocolate mousse cake for dessert and all were exquisite in presentation and taste. This is our first time for all of us and we have all stated that we will be back. Price is comparable to other Italian restaurants for dinner. Staff were very friendly. The dinner rolls were about the size of two rolls in one and were delicious with the fantastic marinara sauce! This place is a must on the foody stop of great dining!

Luxurious atmosphere and seating area (chairs). The bathrooms are in the back with clean facilities. The hallway is very cool to walk through. It is $3.50 per person to BYOB. It is also wheelchair accessible I believe. I came to try the Chocolate Mousse Cake and MARGHERITA Cake. The piano near the window is encouraged to be played! I want to come back to try the Di Rosani’s Chef’s Specials as well. We were also greeted by Hasan, the business owner, with a hello. Hasan also was our waiter. The service was splendid thank you, Hasan! I forget what it was called but he also gave complimentary bread while we waited. I can’t wait to visit TX to come back and dine here again.

Went here with my coworkers for lunch and had such a wholesome, friendly experience. The man at the front recognized one of my coworkers, who used to visit frequently, and they reconnected while the rest of us browsed the menu. Everything sounded delicious. I ordered the eggplant parm and stuffed mushrooms, which came with a side salad and a drink. Others got the tortellini alfredo and chicken parm. Everything was tasty! I especially loved the fresh-baked bread and the stuffed mushrooms. The gravy was perfect on its own, but even better with the pillowy bread. The eggplant parm was good—just a touch too sour or acidic for my taste, but still enjoyable.
