Ixta-Tacos — Restaurant in Irving

So I found this place on google, seen they had 5star reviews so I pulled up. (6/18/25, 2:45pm) The customer service was easily 10/10, the cashier was very helpful & nice. The food was affordable, the service was quick. I got one fish taco (fried), one birria taco & one chicken taco. Everything was delicious & flavorful. My ONLY critique’s are the fish wasn’t hot like it was fresh out of the grease for it to be fried & cooked to order. The Birria was VERY GOOD but the shell was very soggy, also not like hot. The chicken also very good but the portion of the meat was very little in my opinion. I ate everything in my car right after I got it so it’s not like I waited am “X” amount of time. Other than the temperature of my food not being as hot as I feel it should be for cooked to order food, I’d definitely comeback & definitely...

One word, FLAVOR! The flavor of the shrmip tacos had so many different layers. The great thing, it wasn't from an overload of sauce. I could actually taste the shrimp, which were cooked to perfection. After trying those, I was dying to try the Fish tacos. I am so glad I did. The fish wasn't greasy and the taco wasn't loaded with sauce (the fish was the show). I could have ate a whole plate, but had a flight in 2 hours. The beauty of the meal was that it was light, flavorful, and didnt leave me feeling blah.

I stopped by ixta Tacos ans we were looking for an hole in the wall taco place near DFW anirport and was seriously impressed. The flavors were bold and authentic—especially the birria tacos, which were juicy and perfectly seasoned. The tortillas tasted freshly made, and the salsas packed just the right amount of heat. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the overall vibe of the place was welcoming and inside a gas station!. You can tell they really care about the food they serve.
