I literally just got back from there, it’s April 25 2020 and I work down the street at a healthcare facility. First of all, I been here before never have I had an issue prior to this or have them have an issue hearing my orders whatsoever. I ordered a sausage McMuffin with egg and bacon egg and cheese biscuit with a small Powerade. I had to repeat this order to the man 5 times! First at the drive thru, went up to the first window and had to repeat it over and over and finally that last time I had to shout it. I don’t get how all the other days they can hear me loud and clear and mind you I’ve spoken to them before through that plastic guard they have on the window and never had a problem. I’m a healthcare worker and McDonald’s is advertising free food for healthcare workers. After I made my purchase, which I paid for and didn’t not have an issue with, I wanted to know what all is available for us to receive for free (as in for a future order). Again, I guess now the Indian woman that’s the manager still couldn’t hear me (I’ve also spoken to her before with no issue of no hearing) and once again I had to shout what I’m asking to her. She doesn’t let me finish speaking before she starts interrupting me and answering something I didn’t even ask. I wanted to know the menu we can get and she cuts me off with you never told them back there. That not what the hell I said!! Then I ask AGAIN, she then tells me only sausage McMuffin with a drink and hash brown. I asked so that’s it, she said yes. I asked again, so that’s it for all day menu for healthcare workers so if I come later this afternoon I can only get that? She said yes. So I said you only offer us one thing? She then said oh no there’s a fish sandwich and something else and kept pointing to the menu sign inside as if I can see it from the window and said it will tell you outside. So in other words being a manager, you don’t know what your company is offering healthcare workers during this pandemic!?? I didn’t even want to continue that conversation because she doesn’t know how to listen without interrupting for one and I wasn’t going to break down basic school teaching to her and get her to understand what I just said so I had to leave. It made me that irritated I actually took the time during MY BREAK to write this nonsense. Smh absolutely stupid!!! NEVER AGAIN WILL I COME TO...

Read moreThis morning I had the most pleasant experience at a McDonald’s Restaurant located at 8435 N Beltline Road, Irving, Texas 75063.
The first thing that came to my attention in this exceptional place was the state of the lady’s restroom. I was taught to never dine in a place where the restroom isn’t clean. A filthy restroom makes me wonder if the back of the store is dirty as well.
The restroom in this McDonald’s was pristine.
Both stalls were clean and there wasn’t a bit of paper on the floor. The sink was clear of excess water and soap residue. The wall beneath the hand dryer was clean as well.
I was so surprised by the cleanliness, I took a few pictures to show exactly what I’d witnessed.
I didn’t really pay attention to the lobby upon entering the restaurant because I needed to be sure the restroom was clean first. Once I was satisfied with the lady’s restroom, I walked back out to the lobby. The owner of this franchise store should be honored to have such a polished crew. The front counter, drink station, tables and chairs were all spotless.
Every McDonalds should follow this team’s lead. They have done an amazing job and I hope they keep it up.
Because I had weight loss surgery, I am very peculiar about where and what I eat. I try to stay away from fast foods. When I finally treat myself, I refuse to take a chance of getting sick from food that hasn’t been properly handled.
I thoroughly enjoyed my steak, egg, cheese, and about a quarter of the top bagel slice. I’m so glad I stopped here this morning.
I look forward to another visit...
