I have been visiting Hello India since they opened up in the Irving location and a regular customer for groceries and their snacks and eatery and tea section, their service has over the months have become so jaded that they don’t even care about the quality any more, went for some evening snack and Tea, while taking the order I asked weather the mirchi bhaji and the pakora are hot, counter guy just looked away and didn’t reply like he didn’t care, while taking order I asked weather the girl standing there is the bhaji and the pakora hot, she didn’t care to pay attention to what I was saying. Went to sit down and eat both were ICE cold. Man these are served and had hot or warm snacks at least put a warmer or hot water underneath to keep the food and snacks warm, took the packet and showed it to them saying its ICE cold and they shouldn’t be selling these snacks cold the serving girl looked confused probably didn’t get a word I was saying. The tall beared guy was looking away and finally looked what was happening and asked me weather I wanted anything else in its place, bro to kind of you but do u realize that everything you have there is cold, have some bloody sense no one is ask for free food. None of these guys are interested to speak to the customer even when u go to take the tea and want it made certain way they bloody don’t reply or acknowledge what u are saying and mess up ur tea, you have repeat multiple times. This is the thing with this Indian stores and eatery once they become successful with an Item and is able to pull the crowd they loose all sense of quality control...

My experience at this unique grocery store and desi restaurant in Dallas has been a mixed bag. The concept of combining a grocery store with a restaurant is intriguing, offering the convenience of both worlds.

While I appreciate the wide variety of South Indian dishes and masalas available, the tightness on the pockets is hard to ignore. The products here tend to be on the expensive side compared to other stores in the area. However, the quality and authenticity of the South Indian offerings partially compensate for the higher prices.

The grocery section boasts an extensive collection of masalas, providing a haven for those seeking authentic flavors to spice up their home-cooked meals. It's a culinary adventure exploring the aisles filled with unique ingredients and traditional spices.

On the downside, the cost factor might be a deterrent for some, especially if you're budget-conscious. Despite this, if you're a South Indian cuisine enthusiast looking for specific ingredients or craving a taste of home, this place might be worth a visit.

The ambiance is a blend of a grocery shopping experience and a casual dine-in setting. The staff is generally friendly and willing to assist, adding a positive note to the overall atmosphere.

To conclude with, this fantastic grocery store AKA desi restaurant is a niche spot catering to those with a penchant for South Indian flavors. While it may not be the most budget-friendly option, the variety and authenticity it offers make it a notable destination for culinary...

One stop store for all groceries & halal meat needs. Small sections, Clean store with few friendly & unfriendly staff. One such occasion, especially one lady that was in the counter showed lot of attitude & was rude. I was at the counter and picked up my cart and placed it at the counter for the person's convince. Instead, she insisted that I remove the items & place it over the counter. If I do your job, why are you even there? On another occasions, I picked my groceries but nobody bothered to Bill for me. Waited for 15 minutes & left for another store. One guy noticed me standing at the billing counter but was not in mood to attend the counter nor informed someone to take care. Pathetic & unprofessional!!! He was like 2 steps away from the counter. Everyone were at the restaurant billing & serving. Very unorganized. My above rating is based on my visit today for dinner. Ordered Puri, chicken pulav, a chicken appetizer & chai. Firstly, pulav is not fresh & chicken was slight stale & half cooked. Rice was broken & was of low grade quality. Appetizer was equally terrible. Potato curry was bland & lacked taste. Secondly, the tea they claim as Irani chai is not actual Irani chai, it's masala chai. Which was good. I liked the chai & repeated it again. Horrendous experience I would say!!! Disappointed with the quality.

I am a regular customer to Hello India, but still I don’t want to give even 1star to this. This time I don’t want to just ignore and eat my food. There is so much change in the taste, quality and quantity of the food, it tasting bad day by day. Today I bought Tikka chicken or Tandoori chicken from Hello India, Irving you can see the quantity I got in below pictures and taste is not good as before and the green chutney I got on side is literally Panipoori water. Can anyone imagine how the taste of Tikka chicken or Tandoori chicken with Panipoori was? It is worst. Please don’t take advantage of love towards Indian food we customers have as weakness. If we purchase food paying so much we understand at least tase & quality is expected even though there is no quantity. I know even worst food is provided at your restaurant like I got today your customer flow is not reducing. But eventually you may loose regular loving customers and you will have just one time visitors who visit Dallas. And if you are just happy having visitors at your Hello India then it is huge loss. Hope this changes and we get old taste. Thank you for your paid services🙏
