This was my 2nd time at the whiskey cake restuarant. My husbands 1st.

First our drinks, I got the campfire and he got Tennessee stud.

The campfire was a great flavor, so good in fact I had 2! Great smoke flavor. Infact made my husband get a drink bc it was so good.

Husband, Tennessee Stud was really great flavor and well mixed. Overall a calm drink that allows you to relax.

For appetizer we got the fried green tomatoes. This is not something I normally eat... in fact i avoid. But here they are so good and make me think of fried pickles, but more juicy. They are just sour enough to make it good but not greasy.

I had the beer cheese soup which looks like a queso but smoother. And honestly has a great flavor and is not heavy at all. And the plano location we were recommended to have it with the brussel sprouts. So I followed through again. (I know weird) but honestly it is a must have. They are each individually really good but if you add the brussel sprouts to the soup or dip them into the soup it makes for a great satisfying meal. And in fact should be added to the menu as a full time soup and side. I also got the mac and cheese which had nothing special and honestly seemed lack lustered.

Husband: The burger was very juicy and flavorful. The tomatoes mixed well which was a great add in. Overall great burger.

Then to finish off our meal we had the name sake whiskey cake. This was perfect. Homemade whip cream added to the world softest cake. It wasnt too nutty, moist and the whiskey sauce was a great blend for the cake.
