From the moment I walked in, I was impressed— the place is spotless, nicely designed, and definitely gives the impression of a higher end sandwich spot. The ambiance had me hopeful.

But then came the letdown. The woman taking orders needs a serious attitude check. If I’m about to spend $50 on two sandwiches, the last thing I expect is to be met with rudeness and cold energy. I walked in smiling and chipper, and she killed that vibe immediately. I wanted to walk out, but my husband was hungry—he regretted staying.

Now let’s talk about the food. The corn and pastrami sandwich didn’t live up to the price tag. It lacked flavor, and the meat didn’t feel like the high-quality cuts you'd expect from a place charging premium prices. I've had way better elsewhere.

I had seen Abby’s advertised online so I decided to stop by and check it out on my way home from work, initially I was impressed by how clean the place was, the young lady at the window was very friendly and polite, I think her name was ni’jah, I expressed too her this was my first time there and if the food was good I would be there regularly, she said that then she would be seeing me again, I ordered the corned beef sandwich on rye with mustard , Russian dressing and coleslaw, the meat was extremely dry !!!! Tbh it's a tad overrated. They have a great selection of specialty sandwiches but it's low key doin too much lol. The sandwiches themselves are a nice size very flavorful and prepared well. But be prepared to wait almost a half of an hour per sandwich idk if they were just backed up on orders or what but the wait time is ridiculous. Beyond that the prices are high key outrageous mind you they do make quality sandwiches and you get what you pay for but in comparison to places that also have high quality ingredients and also have been affected by inflation these prices are quite high.
