Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Irvington

They dont deserve any stars. Here is how my experience went... it was my turn in line so i walked up to the counter and made eye contact with the cashier, Marie, however she wasn't looking at me, instead she was giving her attention to some people who were sitting behind me. She finally acknowledged me after i said hello a few times and used her name. I ordered a family meal and i asked if they have mac n cheese..she said they do but its frozen. Mind you it was around 7pm so it was definitely dinner time..not late like 11pm. I asked how long i would have to wait for it to thaw and she said 20 mins so me thinking im going to get my food within 10 mins decided not to wait (im a hungry pregnant woman) so i settled for a different side. I get my receipt and sit down to wait for my food. I purposely sat where i could see them packing up the food. I was thinking about the poor management they have if they are running out of food at this time of day. I then see a man in the back cutting open a thawed bag of mac n cheese and separate it into containers. Me apparently expecting too much thought that my cashier would see the mac n cheese and set some aside for me knowing i just ordered and wanted some. (Something i wouldve done)so I wait and i wait and observe and finally they are packing up a family meal and being that there was only one other person waiting, who ordered after me, i figured that was my order. Nope. They called her number "233" before mine which was "232" and the woman got a family meal like i did. Five mins later the girl calls my number and i wanted to say something about that and the mac n cheese situation but by that time i was just eager to get home and eat and so was my 7 yr old step daughter who was with me. I looked in my bag, looked at the girl and she gave me a blank stare so i took my bag and left. Got home and no buscuits were in my bag which comes with the family deal. Why is it so difficult to get good customer service around here? At least give me what i ordered and serve customers in the order they are in. Not that difficult of a job. No one likes being treated unfairly. I will never give this Popeyes my...

So... all Popeyes are the same right? WRONG! Came to this place as it was only on my way home.... placed a pretty simple order which btw was interrupted and told to hold after the order was placed twice and then made to repeat same order once more.. simple..5 dollar box with breast and leg spicy with fries and Cajun rice for sides.. pretty simple right? Considering I was asked to repeat order 3 times....WRONG ! ... okay senses told me something would be wrong once I approached the window with a manager dressed in a very dirty Popeyes uniform making me think twice about my order as he handed me a wet bag containing my food in it while 2 other employees screamed cursing saying previous customer stated he would call the cops for some reason...and manager stating he doesn't care... so as i continued to dry my hands after touching that wet bag... all I could think of was if my order was ok? Naaah.. they can't mess up one simple order I told myself... ha ha ha... should've checked before leaving needless to say... sooo got home.. opened box and saw that I got a breast and wing regular recipe... lol... obviously not what I ordered.. apparently they don't care about what u want but will give u what they want u to have... hmmmm... a long time ago I wondered what Popeyes chicken would taste like with McDonald's fries... I didn't know I would get all of that from Popeyes at this location... besides my order being completely messed up.. I count believe that the French fries were plain with no sort of spices on them... hmm that was so weird... this place is sooooo poorly managed that it's employees are just standing around talking and yelling/cursing in front of customers while the drive thru line waiting time is too looong... never seen unprofessional staff act this way and just not care... from nasty dirty uniforms that make you think twice about the quality of the food they serve to the attitude of staff on site... this is truly an establishment that I will NEVER EVER visit again..... so bad that I thought I'd find a roach in my rice... smh......

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE PLACE, I USUALLY GO THERE IF I HAVE A TASTE FOR IT, BUT EVERY TIME I GO THERE IT IS ALWAYS SOMETHING DIFFERENT.. LET ME JUST SAY SOME OF THERE STAFF ARE YOUNG AND YOU CAN TELL THEY DO NOT CARE ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS GOSSIPING AND GETTING A FREE CHECK BECAUSE THEY DO NOT WORK LIKE MOST PEOPLE IN OTHER JOBS BUT THE OTHER DAY I WENT IN AND ORDERED THE 5 PIECE COMBO AND THE LADY HAD THE NERVE TO PUT MY FRIES IN A BAG NOT A BOX OR PUT THEM IN THE BOX WITH THE CHICKEN IN A BAG WHEN I ASKED HER ABOUT IT SHE GAVE ME THIS LOOK AS IF I WERE SPEAKING A DIFFERENT LANGUAGE THEN WHEN SHE NOTICED I WAS A LITTLE UPSET THEN SHE SAID LET ME ME GIVE U SOME IN THE BOX SO SHE GAVE ME NEW FRIES AND PUT THE ONES FROM THE BAG IN THE BOX THERE GHETTO PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE TO ORDER ANYTHING I AM NEVER GOING BACK THERE I AM GOING TO CALL THERE CORPORATE OFFICE AND COMPLAIN THERE WHOLE STAFF NEEDS TO BE FIRED IT IS A SHAME THEY PUT THESE FRANCHISES IN THE GHETTO AND THIS IS WHAT YOU GET WHEN YOU DO THAT AND IT SHOULD NOT BE LIKE THAT JUST BECAUSE THE AREA MIGHT NOT BE A GOOD GOOD AREA LIKE LETS SAY BAYONNE OR UNION CITY OR ETC THEY SHOULD STILL PRACTICE THE SAME VALUES AS ANOTHER PLACE I HOPE THE MANAGERS ARE LOOKING AT THESE REVIEWS BECAUSE SOMETHING HAVE TO CHANGE EITHER EVERYONE GET FIRED OR RETRAIN...
