TASTE OF LAGOS — Restaurant in Irvington

I ordered from here due to the hype in IG. I ordered the lamb stir fry veggies pepper soup with fish and strawberry virgin mojito. I received several emails telling what they did not have and what the were replacing my order with and refunding my the overage cost. Then the call came from the restaurant to share what the email confirmed. I ended up with overcooked lamb chops very dry not seasoned well. The presentation was horrible as well. I then ended up with what was supposed to be vegetable fried rice ended up being some type of yellow rice and canned vegetables mixed. Soup was not seasoned just spicy and the fish was not cleaned on the inside. Just a whole stemmed fish placed in spiced water. Very disappointed. I am waiting my entire refund for what they did not have and I will keep...

All i see is good reviews so they must delete the bad ones or something but I just waited about 1hr and got old food the food literally smells so bad soon as I opened the bag, I had got this same dish from other spots and it never had this type of smell I couldn’t even taste it because the smell threw me off it smelt like someone who didn’t wash they butt for days I’m really annoyed because I saw great reviews and was really looking forward to eating now I don’t even feel like eating nothing else btw I ordered pounded yam...

I recently dined at Taste of Lagos restaurant, and I can't recommend it enough! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a cozy meal. The menu featured a diverse range of traditional dishes, and every bite was bursting with authentic flavors. I particularly loved the jollof rice and the spicy grilled chicken; they were cooked to perfection! The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I can't wait to return....
