This location should always be considered the definitive test case AGAINST a $15/hr minimum wage. For the past three weeks my wife and I have stopped at this McDonald’s on our way from Dallas to La Grange, and each time, we’ve spent upwards of 15-20 minutes waiting AND ended up with an incorrect order. Seriously- it’s correct on the receipt, which means it is correct on the screens inside, so... I can only presume that means the cook can’t read; and, if they’re illiterate, how much should their earning potential really be??? Oh, but they offered me a free apple pie. Well, thanks, but I’m actually diabetic...and now that I’ve looped the drive thru and gone back inside to get the problem corrected, I’m also 30 minutes late. And thanks for re-making my sandwich correctly this time, but now my fries are cold. And, really, aren’t the fries the main reason we chose McD’s over, say, Sonic or Carl’s Jr., both of which are right next door?? There was another family inside waiting for a corrected order...and they had been there an hour. An HOUR. (And they got the same apple pie offer.)

Read moreThe service in here is the worst. I asked for a strawberry milkshake and 2 sundaes. When they gave me the milkshake it was a vanilla milkshake I kept looking at the shake and the young gentleman asked if there was something wrong with it and I told him that I asked for a strawberry shake not vanilla and he told me that it was strawberry. I told him that it was not and he called the manager. The manager was so rude! He told that it was how every strawberry milkshake looked like that if I drank of it would taste like strawberry. I told him that it was not my first time drinking shakes from mcdonalds and that they never looked like that. He then told me that they could make me another one and started to make fun of me inside telling that of course it was not my first time that is why I was fat and stuff like that. My husband and son sundaes weren't any better but I was not going to tell them anything because they already made me felt bad with what they were saying. Never would go to this...
Read moreWell even I'm human and make mistakes, when I checked the last item I ordered and it was completely not what I ordered. Yes I did a mobile pickup order, yes I did have another burger just them same, 1 of my kids changed his mind. 🤦♀️ I'm frustrated lol he had a football game and won by a landslide, he was tired so when I removed 1 I DID NOT remove the right one so. Even though when I realized I had already told that nice lady that they were wrong. I apologized and ask to pay for it cause it really was my mistake. So instead of not telling her it was my bad i looked at my boys and decided to lead by example and apologize ALOT and offer to pay for them to fix something they didn't do wrong. Super awesome employees there and they handled me being grumpy with kid gloves so I felt those emotions. Try to be a roll model to your kids, let them be proud of me for handling this with grace, cause it still exists " giving and receiving grace" humanity is still out there even in the...
