I wanted to leave a cautionary review of a pizza I ordered last night. I'll preface this review by saying I've never, ever had a bad experience at Taormina's and I'm sure this was a fluke, but something to be aware of. I ordered a large buffalo chicken pizza last night and it tasted fine, but I felt there was waaay too much cheese on it. Some might consider this a plus, but the grease was substantial. On my second slice, I noticed that some of the chicken on the pizza had arteries still in the muscle, which made me question the quality of the chicken (perhaps it is repurposed from other dishes at the restaurant, or just overall low quality meat?). This made me lose my appetite for the evening, but this morning I gave the leftovers a second chance. On my first slice this morning, I bit into a large (about one inch long) piece of chicken bone still in the meat. This actually hurt a bit because I wasn't expecting any bone on my pizza. I lost my appetite for the second time and will be discarding the remaining half of the pizza. I have had many meals and pizzas here and I will likely order plain pizzas in the future, as they have always been very good. I will avoid any toppings from here on in, though. Would recommend the pasta dishes and sandwiches instead!

I just moved into the area and am in the process of trying out various restaurants. My experience with Taormina's was disappointing. I called to order a meat lovers pizza ($23.50) then headed over during the time estimate provided. My pizza was ready when I arrived, however when it came time to pay they tried to charge me almost 10% more than what is advertised online ($26.xx). When I questioned the cashier she indicated that they had raised their prices. She was not able to address the false advertising issue so the owner was brought over, who did eventually honor the advertised prices after much pushback. To be sure, before writing this review I went to their website again and went to place an online order, which also reflected the $23.50 I expected to be charged (image attached). When it came to the pizza it was just mediocre. It only had 3 of their 6 available meat toppings on it and the crust was really tough and rubbery. It did have a good amount of cheese.

Stopped by this evening to grab a bite. Let's start with the service. It was excellent. We were seated promptly, our orders taken quickly, and food came out quickly too. My wife enjoyed her buffalo tower as her entree and I had the filet panini. The panini needs work as an offering. It was described as coming with provolone cheese, mushrooms, and fried onions. I ordered it without mushrooms, but the kitchen forgot this. Our server apologised and offered to make them fix it, but I declined. The meat was tough and rather small in comparison to the roll. There was a serious lack of cheese. Again, our server was great and offered more cheese. However, this wasn't, in my opinion, $15 sandwich and has the potential to be much better. The decor was excellent and I particularly liked the ceiling's hammered metal look. I look forward to to visiting here again and having a meal that matches the excellent service and the prices!

Disrespectful customer service, manager refused to make things right. A bad overall experience at this restaurant. DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!!!

Made reservations for 6:30pm the morning of the party on a Thursday evening. Was promised ahead that thr party of merely 5 +2kids will be seated on time since it's school night. Showed up on time, was told by hostess a few minutes. 20 minutes later manager shows up states our table is occupied and waiting for people to get up, 40 minutes passes, we watched a party of 5 and a party of 4be seated ahead of us from the street without any reservations. I asked manager why did those people get seated and we didnt? She said their party is smller 🤯 When I asked for the manager to show, she said again that the table is still not cleared and the other party is still sitting. Kids are crying, tired and hungry, and I ask the manager,

I want to know WHY couldn't you take those 2 tables and make a table for us??? We had reservations after all and little kids.

Just a bad 👎 😔 overall experience and no restaurant is worth it.

BEWARE!!!! DO NOT EAT HERE!!

Highly disappointed and will not return. You should be ashamed of yourself. What happened to your portions!!! I'm not sure if it was your cook tonight or if you're just cutting back on your portions you sure as hell didn't cut back on those prices you got some nerve charging those prices for your portions. Not only that you're buying cheaper quality food I can taste it. You should absolutely lower your prices if you are going to serve these small portions. Those were appetizers that we were served tonight they were not dinners. You lost a customer and very loyal one at that! If you're going to cut corners on your products then cut it on your costs too! Well take our business right up the road to amalios where the owner cares about their products and customers! And what's a technology fee!??? What technology did you offer me? Robbing your customers from every Angle! And you don't even get a soup or salad with that price!! I'll be sure to spread the word and the pictures of our meals to make sure that...
