Great smoked pork, brisket, regular pork and babyback ribs are delicious also turkey, chicken, Salmon and sausage all cooked on the premises. We love it all and have tasted it all! My(Liz) favorite meat is the smoked pulled pork and I like to put my favorite barbecue sauce (Smokey Mountain & Vinegar)on my meat. That is the best thing you choose your sauce from six flavors plus more selection at the tool box, which is a wonderful idea to hold lids, straws, salt & pepper, wet napkins, toothpicks and much more. Some people complain because it's dried but that is the result you get when you cook it by smoking it. We don't like when the drippings are put back in as they did there for a while. Baked beans, coleslaw, Maggie Moos Mac & Cheese, Sweet Potato, Collard Greens are also delicious my husband loves the Fries. They also have dessert of the day. Not everyone can be pleased as we all have different tastebuds but we love Mission BBQ! We really enjoyed the food. Two years and going and my husband won the smoker this year 06/17/2018 on father's day little did he know I had entered him in the giveaway and not only that his work week begins on Sunday nights so it was quite a surprise. And the food just gets better! We love you Mission BBQ. We just visited again and I had the Pastrami, Baked Beans, Sweet Potato plain and Carrot Cake dessert. It was delicious. I love this place so much I could eat here everyday. Next on the menu that I will definitely be ordering is the smoked cornbeef. I know it will be delicious can't wait. We love #missionbbq...
Read moreFriendly service. A very pleasant atmosphere. I have had food here a few times. Funny as though they have locations around the country. I personally enjoy the pulled chicken sandwich. Have yet to sample the other meats. I really like the Memphis barbecue sauce. Whatever they call it. In my last 2 visits the sides ive had were the cheesy potatoes(I think they called it something else) the greenbeans with the fixings, potatoes salad and mac n cheese in the second order. The beans had a stem in it which wasnt to bad. Still tasted good. The mac was honestly not my favorite but perhaps Kraft ruined my sense of taste with that one. On my first visit one of the staff there gave out carrot cake slices. It was pretty good. Better than i expected. I like how they have all those various soda bottles of different sodas besides the steriotypical coke and pepsi products. Various typces of root beer. And of course my favorite..Cheerwine. I also respect how they are involved with various fundraisers and they way they do the national anthem around noon. I respect that. Freindly people and good food. If you get a chance help out some of those fundraiser programs. They did one helping the local emergency services and another sending care packages to troops. A pleasant...
Read moreI work in food service distribution, and so I don’t normally eat at chains, but I will make an exception for Mission barbecue because they generally do a fantastic job and the employees seem to genuinely care
Tonight I ordered the brisket and pulled pork with the potato salad and baked beans. It was lovely and I appreciate the craftsmanship they put into it.
When I was paying, I made a comment about one of the photos on the wall. It reminded me of something me and my buddies had done during desert storm. I laughed about it and told the people who were helping me.
Well, if you haven’t eaten there, they seem to have the manager actually out on the floor cleaning and talking to everyone and making sure everyone has what they need. In this case it was a guy named David, and he was exceptional, but also Skyler, who brought me the lovely treat in the picture Was very professional and helpful.
I’m almost hesitant to mention their names because every person there that I interacted with was positive, professional, and friendly.
In all, it was a supportive experience and believe me, I know how hard that is to achieve in a restaurant. I have been working in the space for decades, and that kind of experience doesn’t happen on accident.
Well...
