Smokin' Barrels — Restaurant in Jackman

We came to Jackman to unplug, relax, and enjoy nature. After we discovered this unassuming gem for dinner and everyone was happy with their choices, we returned the next two nights to get double orders of wings to go. Each time they were absolutely delicious-cooked and seasoned perfectly. We got them plain with sauce on the side most times to appease picky kids but everyone enjoyed them either way (plain, sauced, hot and cold later in the evening). We are up here on vacation and just came across this place on our travels. So glad that we did! We got lunch the first time, the sandwiches were delicious. We just left there from dinner and we were not disappointed! I got Street Chicken and my husband got Cajun chicken penne. Both were delicious and there’s absolutely no complaints about portion size! ordered burnt beef tips and i got ham pieces… then got a burger and it tasted like straight chemicals. told server it was pork she went back and told the chef and he said “oh yeah sometimes we get the pork ones”, but then she proceeded to come back and say “oh i went downstairs and the box said beef tips” but it was clearly pork. completely dissatisfied...
