Boardwalk Steak & Fries — Restaurant in Jackson Township

TLDR: Difficult Communication, Terrible Food, Incorrect Charging

Staff are cold and seem to lack basic manners and communication skills. My party ordered a cheesesteak (with chicken subbed in) with fries and a drink, a signature tender meal with a drink, and a 3 piece tender meal with a drink. We were charged 21 dollars, 19, and 19 respectively. Extremely overpriced for the poor food quality and customer service.

The cheesesteak was a stale bun with some bland chicken scooped in. It was topped with the most neon, plasticky nacho cheese I’ve ever seen in my life. It was absolutely revolting. The cheese had an artificial and repulsive taste to it.

The fries and tenders were okay; the only complaint there and for the entire experience was the price point. The drinks were also ridiculous; 6 dollars for a 21oz cup, unless you got the signature tender meal which would ask an additional 4 dollars for a drink.

The cashier also managed to charge us incorrectly for all three meals, all separate payments. He charged for a cheesesteak and drink, then said he didn’t charge for the drink and double charged an additional 6 dollars. He did the same for the signature tender meal. For my meal, the three piece, he charged the price of the signature and that discounted drink. He was also very adamant that he charged all the correct prices and refused to budge.

Overall, I’d recommend…recommend whoever approaches...
