This place is dimly lit and dismal in appearance. It does not look too inviting for dining nor have I ever seen anyone sitting in there to dine (always takeout). When picking up my order, I saw a big plastic tub of uncovered noodles sitting on a chair 🪑 in the dining room. It appeared that they were possibly getting ready to package them in individual bags. However, they were left in the open for insects to rest upon. This was not sanitary. On the flip side, I must say that I never had any complaints with the coconut shrimp that I order; actually it was pretty good. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but something about this place just didn’t sit right with me. I never got a feeling of cleanliness and often wondered what it looked like in the cooking area or the part that wasn’t visible to the customers. Then one day I read an article in the paper whereas a few kitchen issues had to be addressed as cited by the Board of Health; one being a broken sink detached from the wall not allowing for utensils to be cleaned properly. Read moreEating in the restaurant is not bad, their food is pretty good, not great, just pretty good. Service is slow most of the time and their table side manner could use a little improvement.. But where they fall very short is on there take out orders, you better check your receipt before you pay. You will probably be charged anywhere from 50 cents to 75 cents for condiments. My wife and I bought two dinners to go and we asked for a bag of noodles, some house mustard and duck sauce. When we got home we checked our bill and we realize that we were charged $2.25 for the condiments. Now that's a very petty practice if you ask me. I have eaten many many Chinese restaurants in this area and beyond, and I don't recall ever being charge for condiments on a takeout order. I can only say if they're that cheap with their condiments, I can only imagine what goes on in...
Read moreSo tonight I ordered 2 Sesame Chicken Combo platters and an order of dumplings for my boyfriend and I. As we were eating, my boyfriend says he bites into one of his pieces of chicken and feels something hard. We’ve had food from here many times in the past and have come across a very fried piece of chicken so that’s originally what he believed it was. As he continued chewing he realizes it was not chicken but it was a STAPLE. Not on top of the chicken, not in the sauce, but INSIDE the actual piece of chicken. Luckily, he did not swallow this. I called and immediately demanded someone do something and that I am going to accommodated for this. Apparently “oh okay” is all they know! Learn some customer service and move your office supplies away from your food! Will NOT be ordering...
