Jose's Landing — Restaurant in Jackson Township

Terrible experience. Went there with my wife and son for a fun karaoke night. My wife asked for a twisted tea and the bartender said ‘..and a water?’ My wife said ‘you know what, we’re leaving’ and next thing I know, two very aggressive bouncers literally shoved us out the door, cursing and telling us to get the ‘F’ out. We were already leaving and I hadn’t even spoken to the bartender. They shoved me out and called the cops. We were not confrontational at all and left peacefully. While we were waiting for our Uber (because we never drink and drive and it was really cold out), the two bouncers came back out and started shoving me again and cursing. I had my hands in my pockets the whole time and never raised my voice but I did ask them what the f was wrong with them. They acted cracked out or something. I think they just wanted a fight. Idk. Cops showed up while we were waiting for our ride. They didn’t understand it either and were very nice. We weren’t overly intoxicated at all. Whatever bartender was there today was very unwelcoming. Came in to use the bathroom.. walk in, and I immediately get yelled at to the point where quite literally everyone in the bar stares because such a scene was made. Says I need my ID, I respond with I just came in to use the bathroom. She very rudely responds with I am not able to use the restroom unless I am a paying customer. I wouldn’t have minded at all buying a drink, I completely understand only allowing paying customers to use the restrooms. I decided not to give her my money since I was extremely uncomfortable. It says they close at 2, like most bars, but they closed at midnight on a Friday night. They announced last call a little before midnight, so I went outside to call my ride before closing my tab because it was loud in the bar and they weren’t supposed to come get me for another hour.
