We stopped in around midnight on Saturday after going to a concert. Our waitress and one of the cooks was outside smoking when we arrived. Our waitress never washed her hands, the cook didn't either but did wear gloves while preparing the food. We both ordered omelets with hash browns. Everything was cold when we received it. My omelet was a plain cheese omelet and my husband's was ham cheese omelet. His omelet was not prepared as an omelet, everything was just thrown together in a pile on the plate. Mine was prepared as an omelet but, the cheese was not melted because slightly cold. Both the waitress and the head cook blamed the omelets on the new assistant cook. The head cook also blamed it on the pans that they had to work with. The head cook advised us that he would take 10% off of our bill. Then, as we were eating our meals, my husband found a corner piece of raisin bread stuck to the bottom of his hash browns. Neither one of us ordered raisin toast. Both of our orders of toast were cold as well and because of this the butter was clumped on the toast. Also, at the time we were there, there were only 3 other customers. Our waitress did wait on us promptly and called in our order to the cooks. Around five minutes later a customer came in with a carry out order and a phone call with a carry out order were taken. The carry out orders were sent out at least ten minutes before we received our food. Our waitress and head cook explained to us that is how they fell into the order in which they came. That is not correct, our waitress called in our order before the carry out orders were taken. To compensate for this mess they took 20% off of our bill. We did not ask for any discount. On the bill waitress marked "food was not done in time". We usually eat here during the day shift and we consider ourselves regular customers because of the food and good service. So we decided to stop in after midnight for breakfast after the concert and all of the above happened. We won't stop again that late at night at this location. We feel that the staff needs serious work at this location. We are very surprised of this mess coming from this store. We will continue to continue to be regulars at this location throughout the day....
Read moreMy family and I have a tradition of going to Waffle House on Christmas Day, we have done this for the past 5 years they said we were happy because we were able to get in before 9:30 which meant less than an hour wait as a matter of fact, we only waited about 10 minutes we were excited because we were going to be in and out of course they were busy but not as busy as we've seen around 11 or 12 p.m., we were upset because when we got our food everything was literally brought out on each individual play and not all the same time and my daughter did not get her bacon until the very end of the meal I gave the server a $5 tip because it is Christmas and she is not the one cooking the food but I just really feel they were and cruise control mode this time hopefully it'll be better next year or I'll rather just make the same stuff at home and I have to leave the house on a cold...
Read moreWent to the Waffle house on Marlane drive and Stringtown rd was told we would have to wait about 30 minutes because there was 8 of us and they were short staffed and half their dining area was closedand when I looked around 2 employees were just standing there playing on their phones so we left and went to the waffle on Broadway and Home rd which had the same number of employees the dining area was immaculate and we were treated like royalty our food was prepared quickly and correctly and they waited on us hand and foot needless to say I won't be going back to Stringtown since their employees were to lazy to get off their phones and wait on us I'll take my business to Broadway from now on Stringtown lost a 130.00 ticket and my business from now on goes to where they treat me like a customer and they...
