China Wok-Fondren — Restaurant in Jackson

Please read this I recently moved to Mississippi a yr ago and have searched for good Chinese food which tastes good and looks good and I stumbled upon china wok read some of the reviews and decided to try it when I walked in the food looked very fresh but basically everything was chicken so I went for 3 entres pepper chicken, jalapeno chicken,and general chicken which looked liked great big balls of chicken drenched in general sauce and this is what I thought pepper chicken was over fried for the small pieces that they were ,the jalapeno chicken was good spicy and plenty of jalapenos but this is what totally shocked me because I have stumbled on Chinese restaurants before who do this they have this doughy texture which they batter and then put the sauce over it and you think your getting chicken but it ain't chicken inside now I cut open all 9 pieces of general chicken and did not find 1 piece that any chicken inside so beware your getting general dumplings dipped in sauce that's why I will never...

I wanted to like this place since its right down the street from my house but it's a no for me. The atmosphere was nice and it was cery clean, but the food was very bland. I sampled the bourbon chicken and it was so dry and tasteless that i didn't get it, which was the main entree I wanted. I decided to just get the fried rice and general tso chicken. I literally stay 1 minute away and when I made it home I had to put the food in the microwave because it was cold. I put 2 packs of soy sauce on the fried rice and it was so dry and bland that I didn't even finish eating it. The general tso chicken. Went here around lunch time, I left and was gone 5 mins because two minutes after I left, I ate a piece of the chicken and it was cold, Upon returning to the restaurant, asking for another plate politely the young lady at the cash register called someone to the tell me she obviously could not give me the plate. Fresher after I waited there for about three minutes This is not my first time visiting this restaurant, but that is my first time being served by the new person Customer service would have been to replace my food. There was only two pieces of the chicken missing off the plate. Horrible customer service...
