I recently had the pleasure of dining at Aladdin Mediterranean Grill, and I must say it was a delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was immediately impressed by the inviting atmosphere. The decor is beautifully done, with a charming fusion of traditional and modern Mediterranean elements that transports you straight to the Mediterranean coast. It's truly a feast for the senses and sets you in the right mood for a culinary adventure.
The food was, in a word, exceptional. I ordered the Big Combo (4 pieces of shrimp, 2 pieces of lamb chops, and chicken kabab chunks), and the dishes were bursting with flavor. The lamb was perfectly cooked, tender, and seasoned just right, while the hummus was creamy and complemented by fresh pita bread. What impressed me even more was how quickly the food was brought to my table. Sometimes, quality and speed don't go hand in hand, but Aladdin Mediterranean Grill manages to deliver both. It's clear that they have mastered the art of efficient service without compromising on quality.
Speaking of service, it was exceptional. The staff was attentive and friendly, making sure that all my needs were met without being intrusive. They were knowledgeable about the menu and happy to offer recommendations, adding a personal touch that enhanced the overall dining experience.
In summary, Aladdin Mediterranean Grill is a must-visit. With its delicious food, efficient service, and superb atmosphere, it’s a spot where you feel both welcomed and well taken care of. Whether you're in a hurry or looking to enjoy a leisurely meal, this restaurant accommodates both with grace and flair. A truly satisfying experience that I would highly recommend to anyone craving...
Read moreI recently had the opportunity to dine at Aladdin Mediterranean during my travels, and here's my review:
I was excited to try this place during my trip, and it appears to be quite popular. Mediterranean cuisine, with its accessibility to vegan options, is a personal favorite, and Aladdin Mediterranean does offer a variety of such options.
The service was good, deserving a solid 4 stars. I had no major complaints in that department. However, I must admit that the Arabic salad didn't meet my freshness expectations; it seemed likely prepared in advance, affecting its overall quality. The dicing of the ingredients was also finer than what I'm accustomed to.
As for the falafel sandwich, it was tasty, though it was on the smaller side and didn't quite resemble my idea of a wrap. It even seemed pre-prepared, possibly heated in a microwave and wrapped in foil (which, to be fair, is common practice in many places). However, I did notice cooks in the back making others, so it might have been a one-off occurrence.
Price-wise, it was reasonable for the portion size, but it's worth noting that if you have a hearty appetite, you might find yourself wanting a bit more.
However, despite the good service, I didn't quite get the authentic Mediterranean vibe I was hoping for. It felt more like going to a diner, which might be the ambiance they're aiming for.
So, in conclusion, I'm giving Aladdin Mediterranean 3 stars overall, with 4 stars for their service, even though I couldn't shake that diner vibe. Would I go back? Yes, I'd give it another try, but next time, I might explore other items on the menu like hummus, baba ganoush, etc., or even order two...
Read moreI'm strongly disappointed in this place. Not many people were eating there. Place is really nice on the inside. Prices are very low, everything is indeed healthy, however, ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING is bland except for the Lebanese tea and the desserts. But even still, the desserts were meh. Like, everything was ok and cooked right, but everything tasted like nothing. Just food. I'm not eve satisfied or full. Also, there is only one waitress, and she is ALL OVER THE PLACE with doing things, forgetting things, struggling.
The normal hummus and the supposedly spicier hummus taste exactly the same. The apps focused way too much on tangy flavors. My pita croutons were a little burnt. The lentil soup was supposed to be red lentils, not green lentils, and tasted exactly like chicken broth and pureed lentils. I had to add 1 tsp salt and 2 tsp pepper to even taste something. The lebnah is that white sauce. It tastes like if you thickened Greek yogurt and added pickle juice. Kibby just tastes like fried hamburger meat with allspice. The dolmades were too sour.
The lamb wrap was meh. It had a nice sauce, and that saved it for me. Chicken shawarma just tasted like meat. It had curry powder and turmeric, but that was about it.
The desserts both had honey and pistachios. The bird's nest doesn't look appealing at all, but it was the best tasting thing. The Burma, I'd rather just add honey and pistachios to a bowl of mini wheat cereal and milk and call it a day.
Other than that, yes, everything is healthy and nice, but the food sucks....
