I went through drive through on today and they got my order wrong. As my two meats, I asked for fried chicken white meat and fried pan trout. On my plate, they put a thigh and 3 small pieces of fried trout. I do not eat thighs. On the second plate my two meats were meat loaf and baked chicken. My son got a thigh and broken up meat loaf. I was disappointed and I paid over 50 dollars. I live in northeast Jackson, and it was too far to go back to highway 80. I don’t know who they have fixing the to go orders, but I did not appreciate that and I don’t know if I will come back or suggest it to my friends. My aunt told me about it, and I am disappointed. If you have folks fixing plates that don’t know the difference between white and dark meat, you need to change that. This was not worth 27 dollars + taxes for a plate. Total amount paid was over 50 dollars. I am disappointed. I even gave tips, which I regret. At least, give me what I ask for. Just don’t give me what you want me to have. Drove way over there and needless to say,...
Read moreIt has been approximately 8 years since the last time I visited, and to say the taste of the fish has gone down is an understatement. For starters, there was only 1 waitress trying to work an entire side of the restaurant. That was an epic fail. Poor lady, I had half eaten my plate before I even got my drink. Catfish is no longer on the menu, however you can ask your waitress to bring it to you, if you want some. As long as it took me to get my drink I should have known asking for catfish was a stretch. I had eaten 2 small plates of food and was ready to leave when my catfish finally arrived. The bad part was it didn't taste really good. I also had the mashed potatoes and gravy, greens, yams, and cornbread. They tasted really good; just as I remembered. It was such a bummer that my husband paid a little over $50 for two seafood buffets and the only food that I got that qualified as seafood was a bite of some really terrible catfish. I most definitely will not...
Read moreThe selections on the buffet were limited. In essence, it was slim pickings. The total for the meager amount of food was $41.38. I inadvertently gave the cashier $41.33. Before I could take 3 steps away from the cash register she was calling out "Excuse me, sir. Your check was $41.38. I gave her an additional dime and told her to keep the nickel because it would not make or break me. She obviously still was not satisfied because she started discussing the situation with someone standing nearby before I could get out the door. The only good thing about the evening was the service we received from the waiter. We left him a $10.00 tip. The restaurant was practically empty - only one table occupied when we arrived and only two additional couples came in before we left. Do you really think you can afford to chase customers down over a NICKEL and haggle with them when they overpay you...
