Logan Farms Honey Glazed Ham — Restaurant in Jackson

I went here for lunch one day because I'd noticed people eating outside when I was leaving Starbucks. You walk up to the counter to order your food and wait, but there's not much space. That wouldn't really bother me if the food was good, but it wasn't. I got my food to go because I guess the place was so small and so crowded. The chicken and dumplings were ok at best. The mashed potatoes were not great and only had maybe a teaspoon of gravy on them. So I probably wouldn't say their food isn't good after one experience. Maybe it's just the one thing I got. Nope. My work had it catered a week ago and it was worse. The hamburger steak was not seasoned and it wasn't in gravy. The gravy on the side was super thin. The sides were more of the same. I don't even like green beans and the green bean casserole was the best part which isn't saying much.

Here's the thing, though. Everyone else from my office enjoyed it. I can't even blame it on ordering the wrong stuff anymore. I don't get it, but obviously it's just me. Am I living in the twilight zone? I think that's the...

I went here the summer of last year and got the shrimp poboy and onion rings. It. Was. The. Bomb! So, fast forward to me going last week and getting it, ready for a repeat experience. Well, didn't happen. The onion rings were burnt to a powdery crisp and the shrimp was burned and fried hard too. I was disappointed becuase this wasn't a $8 meal! I called them and told them about my meal and the manager was very apologetic and nice. He offered to replace my meal the next time I stopped by. Well, the replacement meal was cooked to perfection, golden and crisp the way it should be! However, the taste wasn't the same as the first couple times I went last summer so... Food is usually very good, however the menu on their website is somewhat frustrating since it is from 2014. It claims they are open until 6pm on their website, however they do not serve the entire menu listed on their website after a certain time. This isn't mentioned on the menu nor their website.

I went in at 2pm to be told that they could only serve me the BBQ or sandwiches on the menu and I couldn't order anything else listed.

Because their hours are strange, it would be nice to have a menu or website that mentions when their lunch hours are over and what can actually be ordered...
