Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Jackson

3 individuals working late on a Monday night. 1 black dude... hard working, courteous, personable. I honestly thought I could've been at Chic-Fil-A. I just really appreciated how he was obviously trying, and succeeding, at doing a good job and helping everyone get their food. 2 black women....epitome of everything wrong with our culture and my generation. Lazy, rude, disrespectful, completely the opposite of everything I want and even need from a service person. I would go back there and get everything myself, but I'm not allowed to, so I need their help and they look at me like they're absolutely disgusted that I have had the audacity to come to their place of business and order food. I am out the door by 5am, it's 10pm and I'm just sitting down to eat my first meal of the day, my boss is horrible, but at work I do everything to the best of my ability with a smile on my face. I'm not asking them to do what I do to sorry their family....but I need you to at least acknowledge that I'm present and do the smallest things like, grab me a straw. I'm asking nicely and they're bold face ignoring me and looking at me like I've done something wrong to them....its infuriating. Like why is it okay to treat people this way....I would never do that to either one of you idc if I'm not getting paid enough or I'm getting paid at all. I'm going to assume you're tired and have had a long day and I'm going to do everything in my power to accommodate you while you spend money at the restaurant that pays my bills. Not you though, you literally make it your mission and goal to be as disrespectful and arrogant as possible and it's horrible...

Well, this is going in the memorable poor experiences that we had as a family. We are visiting TN from MI as we will be moving here soon. Given that, we thought we would try to grab dinner before heading to the hotel. We tried a couple of local spots but the pandemic has changed many of these restaurants hours so we resorted to fast food. We love Popeyes food and this food was tasty but the restaurant employees made this a terrible experience. Let me list them out (and remember, we had to use drive-thru). 1. We order a 12 piece meal and a #4... We paid for both but when it came time to receiving our food we only received a 12 piece and not the rest of our order. 2. We asked for ketchup just as the lady in front of had. The lady in front of us received a heaping 2 handfuls worth of ketchup. We only received about 6 ketchup packets. 3. The lady at the window seemed bothered that we even spoke to her as she was essentially giving us our stuff and rushing away. She did not act like that to the person in front of us and we had no one behind us. 4. The person working spent time walking out to someone to give them food when they were not in the drive-thru and seemed to know the person. 5. The person in front of us ordered spicy chicken without any issues and was not told that there would be any wait but when we tried to order spicy chicken there was a 15 minute wait. Maybe the person in front of us ordered all the spicy chicken but she received way less food...

Had been a great restaurant but something was terribly wrong on April 7, 2021. I sat at the drive thru for over 1 hour. While waiting to order we had an employee open the back door and spit right outside it while we were less than 10 ft away. Sadly, when you are in the drive thru you are stuck and cannot get out. When we finally got to the window to get our food we were told it would be 3 minutes and could we pull to the side and they would bring out our food. We waited another 10 plus minutes and I went inside to ask how much longer. I was told 1 more minute. Several minutes later a young lady brought out a large sack to our car which I knew was not our order. I told her this and she literally sat the sack in my lap and walked away. My wife was starving and ate one of the biscuits. Another person (I believe the manager) came out and took back the food we had opened and was in our possession. The manager had an order close to ours, it did not include the spicy sandwich just a regular. When I realized that we could at least have some food I insisted she let us have it and we left. We did not get our drink and I suspect the food we had in our car was then given to another customer. This is a violation of health code and will be reported to the local authorities. I have had many good experiences with this location but will not be returning to...
