Great food... always happy with quality overall! Try the burger pizza.
Edit: 090219 As of today I'm not sure how much I actually really want to come back here.. The service here was awful, basically we had a party of 6 and there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. No-one got drink refills without flagging someone down which is a big deal at a place that calls itself a brewery... We saw our waitress a total of 6 times, and we were there an hour an a half. That includes the times when she brought us our tickets, took our cards, and brought them back.
At first it was kinda funny how long it was talking for everything, but then it became annoying the longer it went on. We gave her the benefit of the doubt at first, but then we started seeing the other people with another server getting things much quicker than we did and they came in at about the same time. Needless to say the pizza was good and the beer was great, but the experience with our server trumped anything good and was annoying.
This kind of experience will really make me second guess coming back, and it seemed the other 2 small groups that she served were getting the same service.
All of this being said, my father in law recieved a glass with lipstick on it. Which really makes you wonder how well the glasses were actually washed that evening (I'm including the picture in this post).
As anyone reading this can see. It is a far cry from my original review, as I would say 85-90% of the reviews I leave are positive. I have always been a big fan of rockndough as I have conducted business meetings and invited friends there alike in the past.
This review is to inform management of the quality of service on labor day 2019 in case they were away as it was a holiday. If someone was hurting my business I'd...
Read moreOk, so let me start off by saying I love Rock'n Dough. I work downtown and eat there at least once a week. The food is always awesome. I went there with my family recently and the service was mediocre. We ordered the pretzel and loaded fries for appetizers, three pizzas, a cobb salad, and drinks. The salad came out, then the pizzas. Our appetizers never arrived. The server asked if we needed anything. We said yes, our appetizers. She went to check. A few minutes later she came back and asked if we needed anything. We said yes, our appetizers. Again, she went to check. She came back a short time later and said they would be out soon. By then, we had eaten our salad and much of our pizza. We told her just to cancel them. In addition to the appetizer incident, we had to ask for refills and plates. We were never offered any extra napkins, parmesan, crushed red peppers, or any other type of seasonings. We didn't even bother asking at this point. The server was friendly enough, but not very experienced. For the prices Rock'n Dough charges, the service needs to be top notch too. Again, I love Rock'n Dough. This will not stop me from going back by any means. I would highly recommend anyone looking for outstanding pizza to go to Rock'n Dough. All of their food is outstanding. But PLEASE Rock'n Dough... Listen to one of your repeat customers. Hire or train your servers better. Love your new covered patio...

The menu wasn't very overwhelming, making it a bit easier to find what you wanted to order. Next time I come back, I'll be ordering a beer or two. Look to the posters for some of the choices, assuming they are available on-site.
The waitress we had was very nice. Even though she told us she was still in training (assuming she told us that so we would be a bit more patient, which was understandable), she did a fantastic job. She got our drink and food orders rather quickly.
My wife had the SoCal wrap with a house salad and dill ranch on the side. The dill ranch was excellent. The wrap...not good enough to write home about, but if I ordered it, I would have nothing left.
I had the 12" Smoker's Pie, which was a BBQ pizza. I had it with chicken (pork was an alternate option). The chicken wasn't overcooked, the crust was crispy and on-point. The ricotta cheese added an odd texture to it. I think I could have done without it, but it wasn't a deal breaker for me. I'd suggest seeing if they would let you order half with and half without the ricotta to see how you'd want it.
Overall, I had a great experience there. I'd highly...
