Food 5 stars, Customer service 1. We walked up on a Sunday morning with no one inside the store, and one person that just pulled up at the drive through as we were walking in. There were about 4 workers. The young lady at the register was very likely new, and struggling. She didn't make eye contact with us as we waited at the register. After about 2 minutes she put her hand up to let us know she was still helping the car in the drive through, and she would be with us soon. We proceed to stand there for close to another five minutes as she still is trying to figure out the cars order, AND get their drinks to them. Other workers see us and don't try to help, one even stocked the muffins right in front of us. Finally another lady asks if she can close that order out and takes our order. We place it and it's ready fairly quickly. We ordered two drinks and a sandwich. They realized they had packaged our sandwich with a to go order, so they had to ask the delivery guy for the bag back. We finally got our order and left. We had ordered a bacon cheese ciabotta, but they were out of the bread so we got it on an asiago bagel. The coffee was tasty and we both actually enjoyed it. The sandwich was really good! So the product was certainly not lacking, just the customer service. Read moreOrdered a bagel with cream cheese. I was given a toasted bagel, a small container of cream cheese and a spoon. I couldn't even fit the spoon in the cream cheese, that's how small of an amount of cream cheese you get. I was expected to use the handle of the spoon and spread the cream cheese? When I complained about not being informed that I would have to deal with a spoon, not a knife before I purchased it, blank stares, like that'd be asking too much. I asked for a refund for the bagel, the owner was called over. I was then told I could get the refund and keep the bagel. I said I didn't want the bagel so the owner grabs it off the counter and says he'll just give it to someone else. I'm now back at the register waiting for my refund, when I state again that I can't believe this is how they are serving bagels and the clerk tells me he doesn't want to hear about it. At that point it became very clear to me they are only there to make money, they truly don't care about your customer experience at all. I told the clerk they could keep my money and the bagel and I would never be back. His response that was just fine with him. On my way out the door I told the owner the same thing and his response was, "Well, I hope your day gets better." Clearly not interested in customer service at all. Read moreI had a great first experience here on St Patty’s day last weekend! I was in the area and have been wanting to stop in for weeks now.
I asked the baristas which items were their faves off of the specials menu and they gave me great suggestions! I went with the mint creme freeze with the whipped topping and it was so pretty and delicious! I was not expecting the pretty art on top; what a nice surprise! I would definitely order again despite myself not usually being a huge mint flavored fan. This mint chip freeze reminded me of a much better version of Starbucks Java chip.
I sat and enjoyed my drink for a couple of minutes, and upon doing so, I was awarded with a free drink! A customer pre ordered a drink I guess but the drink was wrong or they never picked it up, so it was extra. The barista offered the drink to me letting me know it’ll only go to waste if I say no so, I mean of course I said yes! Another happy surprise! Free cinnamon hot coffee with almond milk, uh yes, I’ll definitely take that, thank you.
