Extremely Disappointed !!
I am writing to express my profound disappointment with the recent experiences I've had at the BK on King Street. As a long-time customer of Burger King’s across our great nation, it is disheartening to witness the significant decline in both service and quality that the Burger King franchise has undergone.
Firstly, the customer service has been abysmal. On multiple occasions, at this particular location I have encountered staff who are indifferent, unprofessional, and seemingly uninterested in providing a satisfactory dining or drive thru experience. The lack of basic courtesy and attentiveness is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the brand.
Secondly, there is a glaring lack of attention to detail. Orders are frequently incorrect, items are missing, and the food quality is inconsistent at best. It is frustrating to receive cold, poorly prepared meals when one expects the standard that Burger King was once known for.
Moreover, the leadership and management at your locations appear to be severely lacking. There is a noticeable absence of oversight and accountability, which has led to a chaotic and unpleasant environment for both customers and employees. This lack of effective leadership is evident in the disorganized operations and the overall decline in service standards.
It is truly disappointing to see how far Burger King has fallen from its heyday. What was once a reliable and enjoyable fast-food option has now become a source of frustration and dissatisfaction. There are multiple times when after I’ve had anything to eat at this location, I ask myself “Is it just me or did this food make me sick??”. I’m typically someone with what I consider an “iron stomach”, I can eat two week old seafood leftovers and feel fine afterwards, but with just one order of large fries and a large (pretty sure they gave me the medium..) fiery strawberry Sprite, it finally gave me the fiery spirit to say to hell with Burger King and for god’s sake, just go out of business already!!! #pukeemoji
Sincerely,
Someone that used to prefer The King over Clown… now look who’s...
Read moreI just have to take a moment to recognize Miss L at this Burger King location. Every single time I stop by, it seems like she's handling everything on her own—but you’d never know it by how smoothly everything runs! Miss L is the kind of employee who is a true gem, one you rarely find these days. No matter how busy or overwhelming things get, she manages it all with grace, a contagious smile, and a positive attitude that lights up the whole place.
Miss L’s dedication to her work and her customers is beyond impressive. She treats everyone with kindness and warmth, making each visit feel personal and special. Even when the pressure is on, she never falters. It’s clear that she not only loves what she does but truly cares about creating the best experience for her customers. She has a beautiful soul that can change someone’s day just with her amazing attitude and heartwarming smile. People like Miss L are the heart and soul of excellent customer service.
Without a doubt, she deserves a raise. Now, I know people often say that in reviews—but I truly mean this from the bottom of my heart. Miss L is probably the only person I’ve ever met who I can honestly and sincerely say deserves a raise, and I’ve had multiple interactions with her during my visits. Every time I go to get my 6 sausage, egg, and cheese croissants, she delivers the same exceptional service and energy. She’s often working alone, but you’d never guess it by how smoothly she runs everything. Miss L stands out because she embodies everything you want in an employee—hardworking, caring, and uplifting.
Employees like her are priceless, and I hope management recognizes just how valuable she is. A pay increase would only be fitting for someone of her caliber—she’s earned it not just for her hard work, but for being such an amazing person.
Miss L, thank you for always making every visit an absolute pleasure. You are a shining example of what true...
Read moreI was going to say that this was the second worst burger king in the area, but then I looked and the downtown location appears to have finally closed, so I guess this is the worst one now.
Never has online/mobile orders ready to go within even 15 minutes of their purported pickup times. Usually acts like they've never heard of them, and then act confused and frustrated while looking the order up, before treating you like you just got there and need to stand in line behind all the people who actually did just get there without pre-orders.
They are regularly out of all kinds of things, including most of the drink syrups, resulting in a freestyle machine with less drink options than a standard machine and a lot more trouble to figure that out. If they don't have food items for your order they just act like that's business as usual and not their problem. No substitutions or even apologies given and they either tell you nothing or bark at you to deal with the online people since they let you order it.
My most recent trip there were quite a few mobile order customers that the store supposedly hadn't gotten, and after many minutes of pandamonioum in barking out the orders because she couldn't get them to print, the manager finally realized that they "hadn't gotten" those orders because they didn't put any paper in...
