Charleys Cheesesteaks — Restaurant in Jacksonville

Don’t recommend, I’m not sure what I was expecting every fast food restaurant on this side of town is unprofessional but we gave it a try and we were disappointed. We ordered online and sat in the drive thru for 25 mins and then are told when we get to the speaker we had to come inside for online orders..that wasn’t stated in the pick up instructions on the email. I was in my pjs already so I sent my husband inside to get our food we paid extra for milkshakes and didn’t receive milkshakes. They didn’t adjust the total. They charged us for the shakes we didn’t receive. For the ones who think because the shakes say 0.00 by them I wasn’t charged the price for the shakes are next to the combo meal line. My husband waited for over 30 mins inside so that’s almost an hour we sat there for 3 meals. The waiting is one thing but to not let him know the shake machine was down until your handing him the food and not taking off the extra $10 you charged for the shakes(he didn’t know I paid extra for the shakes) is quite unprofessional. When you spend $20 on a single meal you expect a better experience.

Update: I posted this before I even ate my food but now that I’ve eaten dinner I can say the sandwiches were made with a lot of meat but mine was salty and it wasn’t really my type of thing but my husband loved his! It’s all...

I do not know where these people writing reviews are eating at. I was so excited to be getting a new place to eat on this side of town. I have only known Charleys to be in the malls where I come from and they were always my favorite go to place to eat in the mall. I had never experienced an actual Charleys restaurant before and was super excited to try it. Everytime I drove by it was so busy so I thought I would wait til it died down a bit. I got off work the other night and didn't know if it would be open but I tried and went by. I got the philly cheesesteak and fries and I Loved it!! The bread was so fresh and I got a good portion of meat on mine....my fries were good and hot too. I was definitely not disappointed by far!! I got the regular and it was huge....I actually ate the rest for lunch the next day and it tasted just as good as the night before. The service by the young girl at the drive thru was super friendly and helpful when it came to ordering my food. Service was quick too. I have no complaints at all about Charleys. I work at Sams Club and have told several of my co-workers about it and spread the word on my experience. I hope these people who have had negative experiences give it another chance!! This is my second visit to this location and while the first experience was pleasant. The associate who helped me today by the name of Jacqueline (not sure if this is the correct spelling) had an attitude because I came to pick up my order 4 minutes before it was due. She rudely said the order just came in, as I’m looking at the time clock on the order machine say other wise. She said it was going to take an additional 15 minutes because the store just got started up, however 2 cars had already been through the drive thru and received the order so I’m not sure why she lied and was being rude to me. I asked for a refund because i had to get back to work, she rolled her eyes and went around the corner. After my food was done she made a smart remark saying that the store doesn’t open till 10, so don’t put an order in before that. Which confused me because earlier she said i had just put the order in at 10:10/10:11 am now she’s telling me not to order until after 10 when the store opens. Her attitude, demeanor and customer service were horrible. I will definitely think twice before choosing Charleys. The attitude from this associate...
