I went by yesterday, between 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. New and very young employee attended me. I noticed she was not familiar with the ingredients, amount of ingredients, and lacked all confidence. Nevertheless she did what she could at the speed that she could, one sub at a time for 3 subs. Another customer arrived and an older lady wearing a bandana on her hair attended the next customer without first checking on the new employee (have more subs on that order? Have any questions on the order you are working on?) Then this older lady proceeded to talk down to the new employee in front of the customers, saying and I quote "that sandwich is going to piss me off, you didn't spread the chicken enough" and being absolutely rude to the new young employee. This lady should not be training anyone. She is not a leader and I hope that was not the shift lead/shift supervisor/shift manager. That young girl more than likely has never had a job. You do not talk down to your employees , specially in front of customers. You teach them how to do things, you help them, you motivate them, you empower them, you raise their confidence level, do not just throw them in the fire and leave them out to hang. This young girl did not complain at all although the older lady was treating her in such a nasty and inappropriate way. A new employee needs training, direction, guidance, mentorship, encouragement. A new employee that you dont train and mistreat is learning that type of behavior is correct and will likely pass down the idiotic experience to the next new employee. Higher management please take action, I will keep an eye on the situation and if it continues I will record it and provide to the employee along with the right information for legal action. You have been warned! This type of abuse does not represent the immage of Subway and I will gladly send copy of the video...
Read moreWent to this location tonight (7/15/20) around 6:30. First thing I noticed was the improper way they were wearing their mask (noses exposed). The young lady who started our order was very pleasant. However, Amy was not. She had just finished with another customer and got mad because I asked her to change her gloves after touching the cabinet door, as well as the machine that their pick up orders come in on. It's Subway policy to wash your hands and put on new gloves between orders! And there's covid19! But I guess I was supposed to be okay with unhygienic practices. From then out she had an attitude, was throwing our sandwiches together acting as if she didn't want to serve me. She finished and says to her coworker nastily, (who happens to be new and was far more professional and helpful), you can ring her out as she walks away. What she didn't know is that my daughter, (who was with me) was assistant manager of this particular location for over a year. This was our first time back in about a year, and I won't be back. Truly sad to see how far their service has gone down. I gave 3 stars only because the new associate was pleasant, otherwise it would...
Read moreDespite their name Subway locations are different at least in terms of customer service and the physical condition of the restaurant itself. This location in a fairly busy Dunn Avenue strip mall is one of the good ones, like five star deserving. I'll start with food preparation clearly well done, clean and they actually listen to the specific order not #4. No trash, debris on the floor and even when it's busy they keep the process moving. My last point is they are, unlike other Subway locations I've been to, well stocked. They actually had cookies for sale with an interesting selection instead of an empty case. Same thing with potato chips. This is a well run Subway...
