I really don’t like leaving negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience.
I recently visited this Dairy Queen and unfortunately, I left disappointed. I ordered a Royal Cheesecake Blizzard and a Diet Coke. Right from the start, the staff member who took my order was not welcoming. I’m not sure if she was having a rough day, but the lack of professionalism stood out. Regardless of the establishment — whether it’s McDonald’s or Wendy’s — I expect to be greeted respectfully when I walk in.
Not only was the greeting lacking, but my order was also incorrect. I asked for a Royal Cheesecake Blizzard and was given a Strawberry Cheesecake Blizzard instead. On top of that, the soda I received was completely flat and had a bad taste. I asked if the sodas behind the counter were any fresher and was told they were the same. The cashier did attempt to change out the soda, but even after running the new one for several minutes, it still tasted awful. I ended up settling for water, but I had already paid for a drink — and wasn’t offered a refund or a replacement, which I think would’ve been fair.
Throughout my visit, I also felt uncomfortable with how the staff behaved. After asking for a water cup, I overheard laughing and comments that seemed to be directed at me — I can’t say for sure, but it didn’t feel right. I sat toward the back to enjoy my blizzard, and when I briefly stepped into the restroom, I came back to find my Blizzard and full cup of water had been thrown away. I didn’t say anything at the time, but it just added to an overall bad experience.
I won’t be returning to this location, and I honestly wouldn’t recommend it based on how things went. I hope this review encourages some reflection and improvement for...

Ok..Same Stuff Different Day. This time, as I attempted to place my order, the drive-thru employee kept cutting me off. I asked for a medium ice cream cone. When I get to the window, I say "hello"! She smacks her lips and says, "you ordered a large cone?" I said, "No, a medium", and she rolls her eyes and begins to shut the window. Long story short, between the eye rolls, the sighing, and the sucking of the teeth, I ask is there a manager I can speak with. She shuts the window again. After bringing my items, I say thank you and once again, she shuts the window and I wait. She comes back and ask did I want to speak with a manager. When I say yes, she smirks, rolls her heavily lashed eyes, and slams the window.
The manager comes to window looking as I had just woke her up from a deep sleep. As I explain my concerns. She just stares at me. No smile, no nothing. Finally I told her that I am a frequent customer and I need them to do better. While staring (really, she did not blink), she painstakingly says, "I am sorry".
Like really? I can fathom a young teenager giving attitude, because she thinks she's being cute...but for a super-grown MANAGER to lack the concern, care, and professionalism needed for custoner service is unacceptable. Read moreWell wanted to enjoy a day with my kids, stop by for food and Ice cream took 40 minutes to get our order. May have been two people working but still waiting on the food she came and slammed the tray on the counter and food flew off. Went to table waited on the blizzards she made only 2 of the 4 . when I went back and ask she got upset I ask for the drinks she said what do you want I said one sweet tea and the other 3 Dr peppers she said she did not care to know what I wanted I could get the drinks myself gave me 4 cups and lids. I went back two get the other two Blizzards she said I made them and I replied no you made 2 again getting upset made the blizzards and walk off our food was so cold and the blizzards were so melted she made them first and let them sit till we got the food. I just went back and ask for a bag to go she just threw the bag I will Not go back again so rude . Story was so not clean you could see food all over the floor behind the counter. It dose not matter if your under staffed its not the customers fault had 3 other customers standing in line seen how rude she was to me and thay walk out shame BUT I will take my business elsewhere....And this place was not clean you could see food on the floor in back very unclean all the tables was sticky and the floor the two ladies working just complaining WILL NOT GO BACK TO THIS LOCATION NEEDS TO BE...
