Something needs to be done with this location. I've experienced numerous issues here, one of which made me refrain from entering this store during the pandemic. Recently I've stopped here and once again continue to experience negative situations with customer service, or better yet CUSTOMER BAD SEREVICE.
Today, my experience was as unsatisfactory again. My entire transaction consisted of one item and three lottery slips. I was behind one person on the customer service service line who was still filling out play slips at the active counter, not at the lottery station. Well, MORGAN told me he was her last customer. When i inquired as to why? Her response was she needed to open a register line. This is not acceptable especially since the other customer was STILL FILLING OUT HIS PLAYSLIPS. So I used the self checkout and when I left the store, MISS MORGAN was standing at an empty register and the man at customer service, was STILL FILLING OUT HIS PLAYSLIPS.
So here it is, please ALDI, close this store. The management is terrible, customer service likes to take breaks and do other things. The entrance door has been broken for quite some time. I found two foul smelling vagrants sleeping outside the non-working entrance earlier this week. The security guard gave me a funny look when I complained about customer service, he wasn't at his post, he was obviously buying lunch. He needs to mind the door and not me. MORGAN IS RUDE and should not be in a position dealing with customers. And your manager, don't get me started. Don't worry I won't return. To check my self out some guy starts taking my groceries out my buggie with out even asking if I needed help. Making me feel week because I had water in my buggie. I'm a shy person i like to do everything my self. And I just felt belittled like he just assumed I could do the waters. And because of it the process took longer. Please start asking people at self check out before you start helping not only that I wanted to put my own number in because I didnt want you to see it. He just made it really uncomfortable. When I called to give the manager a head up to let the boy know to ask before he does things all they could tell me was to speak up. Or why didnt you say anything. Well because not everyone is open like that. I am shy and a scarse person. So just wish people at self check out would ask instead of just doing and or help the older lady first not me I'm young I got the water in my buggie I can get it out. Update: annoyed by a dog shampoo swap out. Didn't have paper receipt, was told I HAD to have it. Asked if it saved to my app. Cashier says no and takes my ID and photocopies it!!! For a product swap! (My dog got a rash so i assumed it might be the brand. Bottle was brand new, wanted to try the oatmeal). I go on my app and find the receipt and told her. She's not listening. I realized she just copied my ID so I'm like "really? You copy my ID even when my receipt WAS saved in my app? Another girl got her attention and told her bc she obviously wasn't listening to anything I had to say. Just annoying to be treated like a thief for a shampoo swap. I'd rather give the shampoo to someone else than have to go through the embarrassment. Normally everyone is so helpful and friendly, maybe she had a bad day dealing with actual thieves and forgot how to do her job appropriately.
