Krystal — Restaurant in Jacksonville

This place seriously needs extra help. So anyone lookin for a job...they will probably hire on the spot...when i first got there i sat at the drive thru speaker for 10 minutes .. Theyd ask what i want, half way through my order they'd ask me to hold on... This happend 2 times before i could give my order...she lets me know its going to be a 5-7 min wait on burgers which is fine by me... So i expected to wait 10-15 mins at most... After i pay they ask me to park... Next 7 customers they park aswell... They also have people inside waiting on food aswell...i notice nobody is leaving though, no foods being handed out so what the hell are they doing... I ask the car next to me how long they had been there they tell me 20 minutes waiting on 2 chili cheese fries... So when i go back to the window after 20 minutes waiting, knowing obviously my food isnt done..i politely ask how long it will be, she asks what i ordered...i tell her and shel asks for my receipt ..i tell her she never gave it to me...well she isnt even aware of my order so i have to retell her 2 times... I mention the car next to me that has a small child in it and how they been waiting over 20 mins on fries and shes completely lost about their order too and tells me shes going to get it made right then... To make a longer story a lil shorter... I ended up with my food.. 20 burgers and cheese fries before these ppl got their 2 fries they ordered. I realize they get busy at night but that was crazy... The manager ended up showing up to come to the rescue but there was atleast 4 people already working... They have a hiring sign up and they desperately needed it. I could of probably got hired on the spot at the point they were at tonight. They even parked a girl for apple turn overs just 2 of them!! It was insane. All in all the food was hot and good...my order was right but the wait time was crazy. And if i didnt stay on them i probably would of waited forever like the ppl with the fries. The staff was nice too. I gave this place 3 stars cus...

I went to this Krystal’s and spent over $20 only to get my food and it’s cold. I called back because it hadn’t been 5 minutes to inform them that my food was cold. The manager stated with an attitude “it came fresh off the grill ma’am.” As I’m trying to tell her there’s no way this food came off the grill, she rudely and with an attitude interrupts me and says “we can remake it.” So after I drop my boyfriend off to work I go back and the doors are locked and they wouldn’t come to the door after I knocked several times. I went to the drive through and the manager comes to the window, doesn’t apologize for the cold food, just takes the food out my hand with an attitude. I stated to her “I don’t want your food just give me my money back. She then slams the door and does something on the register and have the other young lady ask me for my card. She then opens the window and hands me my card and receipt and then slams the windows. There’s not one word spoken, not one thank you, I do apologize about that, just an attitude. I have been going to this business for years, every since I was a little girl, and I’ve never experienced this type of customer service in my life. My boyfriend couldn’t eat before going to work because of the horrible experience we had at Krystal’s. Our lights were out because of the weather and Krystal’s were one of the few places we went to that had power. If this is the service that your managers give, I hate to see what they are teaching the workers.

This absolutely is one of the worst Krystal’s on the planet. On July 10, 2025 evening shift was atrocious, this group, manager included all need to be fired. Whoever this owner is, I feel sorry for your business..After 45 minutes stuck in a drive thru with only 4 cars in line, and a complete lack of customer service skills by the staff, this had to be one of the worst experiences of my 59 years. Just for one thing, on top of multiples…”I ordered your basic #1 combo with a Coke zero, no onions, no cheese.” What did I receive…as I waiting an additional 10 minutes at the window…”4 soggy Krystal’s with extra onions and cheese, cold fries and a regular coke.” The cashier opened the window, music blasting inside and all 3 employees laughing and not communicating at all with customers. I asked a question about napkins, window slammed shut. Unbelievable. Earlier, I could see the frustration on all of the orders in front me, and noticed at least five people driving out of the line after the extended waiting period. If I could have gotten out of this line I would have, but I was stuck in the nightmare. I probably will never eat at another Krystal’s again the rest of my life. As a business owner, I feel sorry for this poor guy that owns this broken establishment. Hopefully, he gets to read this one day, but I doubt it very seriously. I don’t see this owner taking time reading a Google review, when he does not pay any attention to...
