Took a few minutes for us to get a server to our table, wasn’t busy at all, that’s fine. When the server came we gave her our drink order and ordered some mozzarella sticks because we were so hungry. 20 minutes later, our entrees were brought out by the bartender, not our server. No mozzarella sticks we had ordered as an app. We weren’t brought any napkins or ketchup or salt and pepper even though every table had them. I had to get up and go get my own paper towels and ketchup from an empty table, my server saw this and FINALLY came over. I had the chicken tenders and they were lukewarm. The breading separated from the rest of the chicken so easily that it made me wonder how low of a temperature you could fry something at. They were soggy already from the oil but then it was drowned in one of their signature sauces. The signature sauce was not good either, so many ingredients going on that they all cancelled each other out and ended up being very bland. The waffle fries (touted as being famous) were most certainly frozen. I told our server about the hiccup with the mozzarella sticks and asked for them to be cancelled and taken off the bill, she said ok. Ten minutes later she came out with mozzarella sticks and said they were on the house. That’s fine, I don’t want my appetizer after my entree though. I took a bite of the mozzarella sticks, if it wasn’t obvious from flavor alone that they were frozen the ice cold marinara dipping sauce was a dead giveaway. Service gets 1 Star. Food gets even less.
On top of all this we asked what their happy hour beer specials were, they said domestic draft, I’m entirely down for that if they didn’t have four of the worst beers in America as the domestic draft (Miller lite, bud light, bud, and Michelob ultra). Seriously? Are people ordering enough Michelob ultra that you need to have it on draft? Do you need 3 light beers on draft? How about something local or at least a yuengling or Pabst or something with a little more flavor than 3 light pisses and a regular piss.
This whole experience was the third saddest thing I’d seen all day. The second saddest thing was that news article I saw about the little girl who died trying to save a puppy from drowning, the first saddest thing was that the...
Read moreIf I could give this place 0 stars I would!! We live right behind it and it’s the closest wing place near our house. We used to order from here more than once a month the food used to be great. However over the last year every single time we have ordered food to go we have gotten home and the order has been wrong. Which then we have to drive back up there and have it remade. When I say every single time I mean it. It’s the most basic order and is the same order every time. We always say we’re never ordering there again but a month or so will go by and we get a wing craving and the same thing happens....but TONIGHT was by far the worst!!! It’s the last straw we will NEVER order from here again we asked for the wings to be wet my husband gets them home and they are the smallest little chunks of chicken that look old and dried out barely any sauce super dry and tough to eat then we open our motz sticks and those are wayyyy over cooked but then we open the frys and those are mushy and under cooked.. I just don’t get how hard it is to make decent food we’re talking boneless wings and frys here 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ This place has just totally gone downhill. It’s a shame really because at one point they were great but so far...
Read moreFor more than 15 years, I've been a customer of DW SP. From before the Great Recession, through Covid and up to this evening. Here's my ungarnished opinion of DW SP: They are human beings. This restaurant exists in the real world. So if you want perfection, head to church on Sundays. But if you want great food, served by better people, then come on in and see Teresa and her family/staff. I fondly remember coming in 13 years ago, to watch my 7 and 10 year old daughters belt their hearts out to karaoke. Sitting here tonight and flailing at answers for Trivia with a team of friends that I have found here over the years. (Possibly having a few ice cold beers. possibly.. 😉). I can go anywhere on a Saturday night for Wings and Beer. But I can't imagine anywhere else I'd have rather been this evening, than there. Come on in. Tuesday and Saturday evenings for Trivia (7-9). I hear there's Bingo Wednesdays this week. Call in and order some Wings or big Ole Bar Burgers for pick-up....or stay home and use the food delivery companies. I have zero reasons to lie. Stop by. Then stop by again. Prove...
