Dick's Wings And Grill — Restaurant in Jacksonville

Before I comment on any business I make sure to see if they are consistent. I've been ordering from this location specifically for around 6 months now and I've been thoroughly impressed. Great service, great quality food and consistency. I had a slight issue with an order that wasn't cooked to my specifications, but once I brought it to the attention of the staff and management it was taken care of in a very professional way. The bartender that worked tonight was very friendly and helpful. She's a real asset of the establishment. Great job Dick's staff! All tests passed. Keep up the good work!!!!!

Edited: As you see above, I was the biggest Dicks Wings advocate and ordered wings on a multi-weekly, weekly or at least bi-weekly basis. I placed a recent order on Bitesquad and specified XXX Crispy on my order (to be dropped 3x) and usually they get it right every time. This last time, the wings smelled really bad, the wings weren't crispy at all, and the condiments were wrong. I called the store and Michelle told me to take it up with Bitesquad because they altered the order and only put (1) Extra Crispy. That was odd to me, but I took her word and argued with Bitesquad's customer support for 2 days, until I looked at the ticket that was attached to the bag and it had (3)Extra Crispies so Michelle lied to me. Called back and spoke with another person and they told me to deal with Bitesquad and I refused so she told me that the GM Marsha would call me and 2 days have gone by with no call from Marsha... I own businesses myself so I know things happen, but the level of dedication to fix an issue should definitely be addressed. I hate to say it, but I'll have to take my Wing Money ($300/mo....

Several months ago, I left a negative review about Dick’s Wings due to some unfortunate experiences with poor customer service. I told the owner at the time that I would never take that comment down because it was the most disappointing service I had ever received. However, after several recent visits, I feel it’s only right to update my feedback and share a very different experience.

Over the past few visits, I’ve had the pleasure of being served by the same young lady each time. Her name is Haylie Sarnowski, and she has completely changed my perception of this location. From the moment I walk in, Haylie greets me warmly, ensures my order is correct, checks in regularly, and always makes me feel welcome. Her professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail are unmatched.

Even on the occasions when the restaurant seemed extremely busy and she was clearly overwhelmed, Haylie never let it affect the way she treated any customer. She remained composed, cheerful, and genuinely caring toward everyone. It’s rare to find someone in the service industry who consistently goes above and beyond with such a positive attitude.

Tonight, while dining alone, I had the chance to talk with Haylie more personally. I told her how much I appreciated her consistent effort and kindness, and I asked for her name because I felt strongly about correcting my original review. She truly deserves recognition for the incredible work she does.

If more employees showed the same dedication, work ethic, and grace under pressure that Haylie does, the restaurant industry would be a much better place. I hope your organization appreciates her as much as your loyal customers clearly do—because she absolutely...

Overall, this is not a great wing place to visit. The food is mediocre.

Pro: The waitress was super nice and helped me get what I wanted without spending more than I wanted to. She was polite, quick, and efficient without being overly intrusive.

Con: the food wasn't very good. It was ok, but nothing special. The lunch time wing combo was a disappointment. The boneless wings barely had a dusting of breading on them at all (at least to me, boneless wings should have plenty of breading). Additonally, the wings seemed rather meager. Ignoring that, the lunch time combo was for 5 wings and a side for $7.99. Better than the usual price of $10 for just the wings. Which is way overpriced. Especially for what you get.

For my side I upcharge to the loaded fries. My only instruction was to make sure the fries were crispy. While they did comply with my request. It appeared as if the fries weren't allowed to separate. So there were clumps of fries that when pulled apart had the interior fries not completely cooked. Hardly any cheese, and the bacon appeared undercooked. The sour cream was in a disposable tube on the side. Overall the presentation was horrible, but the fries tasted ok.

If you have money to blow then YMMV. Otherwise I wouldn't recommend the visit here at all. It isn't...
