Ez Grill Halal Food — Restaurant in Jacksonville

Wow! After spending a whole month in Jax from the UK found this great Halal Takeaway style restaurant! The food was simply amazing! We ordered the Philli, fish with rice, cheese burger,chicken with rice and salad and nuggets with chips . The fries were just perfect and the salad was fresh and tasty. Finding food prices high compared to the UK here in Florida, the prices at EZ grill were very reasonable and the food was finger licking. The chef 👨‍🍳 is a jolly and helpful person. Took lots of care of me and my family. Don’t be deceived by the outer looks of the shop. There’s some great food being made by a lovely gentleman inside! He is trying his best to make a mark. He’s being cooking for over 25 yrs and the experience speaks for itself! The local community should help this hard working chef ,who cooks with passion, by giving him more business. He plans doing up the shop but his priorities are giving his customers better food first! We wish you all the best and hope that the next time we’re in Jacksonville we would see a much modern Takeaway with many people working there! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED PLACE! I have tried almost everything on the menu and there is not a single thing I have found that I didn't like. The philly cheese steak fries are unbelievable! The philly cheese steak is also unbelievable and one of my favorites. Ive tried the burger and was blown away. My daughter is picky about chicken tenders and loves his! Ive tried the shrimp, chicken and steak with rice and again they were all amazing and I had SO MUCH food left over. Basically if it is on the menu I have tried it. You will not regret a single thing you order. Also one of the nicest owners. He does it all by himself and it is truly impressive. This is my family's go to for our weekly food night out. You can get a combo for under $8 and it comes with a ton of fries. He doesn't skimp out..the boxes are always full. Ask for Halal sauce.. it's great with the fries but also pairs great with the steak in a sack or philly cheese steak. I always have to get two when I order because...

Great food, passionate owner. Khalid definitely sets an example of excellent customer services. Don't go on the ambiance of the restaurant but amazing food. I highly recommend this place. I am visiting Jacksonville for few days and happened to visit this restaurant, been chatting around with this guy as he had been asking if I needed anything and about the food. To check on this restaurants halal meat status i would say this guy was offering salat when i visited and he greeted me with Assalam o Alaikum, Muslim greetings.
