This was probably one of the worst experiences I’ve experienced at a restaurant. My boyfriend ordered the volcano sushi roll which is supposed to have conch in it. When receiving his order he immediately noticed there was no conch in any of the rolls he ordered. When speaking to the waitress about it she immediately told him that what he got was the volcano roll and it does not have conch in it. My boyfriend remembered reading “conch” on the menu and I told her I even read conch because that was the only reason he got that roll. She then went to go check the menu and went to the kitchen. She told us that they didn’t put the conch in because my boyfriend said no mayo and the conch is mixed in with the mayo. I told her, that she should have mentioned the conch is mixed in with the mayo and he would have gotten something different as he is paying for the conch when there is none in his sushi. She then said she would have them remake it, which they didn’t ! She just came back with a small plate of heated chopped up conch. Overall, this was a terrible experience and the situation was handled so unprofessionally. We will no longer be eating here again and I advise others to check their food when...

What a disaster. After reading through the reviews this seems to be a running theme with this location. We were seated for 30 minutes before even being acknowledged meanwhile the table beside us was sat, ordered and served AND FINISHED EATING before we had water. Once our food was served we were not given utensils we had to ask for them our wait staff never noticed . One person in our party never received their food and asked for it to just be packed to go after waiting over an hour. It took 20 more minutes for it to be brought out. I was so disappointed I asked to speak with someone in charge, she told me that they are busy with take out orders and “that’s just the way it is” no apology. Zero attempt to make it right or even approach customer service. Today is mother’s day and I knew it was going to be busy we were prepared to wait. We were not prepared for the total disregard for customers dining in. It seems to me that serving customers dining in your establishment should be a priority and take out orders should be handled by someone other than a person who is waiting tables. The sushi was great the...

I use to be a waitress here and good food i cant lie, but i wouldn’t recommend trying to work here unless you wanna feel out of place, managers of this establishment dont care about there workers or there feelings, just money. they are rude, racist, and very unprofessional behind closed doors. granted it is a job environment so stress comes naturally to employers and employees but ive never had such a problem with a job space. when i was serving, i would have regular customers ask for my manager, just for the customers to acknowledge how rude the manager was to certain employees (including myself). even when i would ask other employees how they felt about working at fancy sushi many would say they have made individuals cry, they dont even like talking to their boss because they are scared they might get yelled at or something along the lines, and even employees waiting for the day they can have enough money to get away from this job. its honestly disappointing because i loved the idea of waitressing and i loved my customers but this job was...

Just like their sister restaurant on Collins. This sushi restaurant is neat and accommodating. Unfortunately, even though the service is friendly, this location is understaffed. During both our visits there was only one server covering the whole restaurant. She did her best, but certain parts of our order were slow in coming. The sushi were all on point, taste wise; but execution can stand a bit of improvement. Aestheticly, the rolls were presented well, but the sushi's individual thickness and size were not uniform. The ramen was a bit pedestrian as well. On the whole this restaurant is worth the visit, especially compared to competitors in the area. I do hope they tighten up a few loose ends and hire a few more servers. Since they treated the food well and the atmosphere is welcoming.

Nothing special. Honestly I like Publix sushi better, which was really disappointing. The hibachi chicken had the flattop flavor but was dry. The avocado in the roll was too mushy like baby food or was previously frozen, fried rice was really salty, and as can be seen in the picture the fried tofu was so unevenly fried, one half of each piece was overcooked and the other half was undercooked. Bummer, I wanted to like this place bc I've heard great things. Also, the tuna tatake was gray, not seared, no browning crust or sesame seed, just gray and flavorless. Won't be back.

So happy this sushi place opened in Oakleaf! The food is amazing, the staff are attentive and helpful without hovering. The options are endless- Thai, Sushi, Hibachi, and some of the best appetizers I’ve ever had. If you go make sure you try the holiday roll. They always bring us an appetizer on the house also! This place is a smooth running machine- it seems like food comes out to the table even as your sitting down! We have never had to wait! Extremely clean which is a major plus!
