So we usually love firehouse subs. It's the 1st time we ordered from here as we just moved to Oakleaf. To say I was so disappointed is an understatement.. After waiting 30mins for 2 subs for take out and a chilli WITH CHEESE - only 3 other customers in the store (2 in front and 1 behind us all dining in) they all got their subs before us and they looked absolutely fantastic. Nice fresh rolls generous fillings so I wasn't bothered that we had to wait a little longer, was just excited to eat as we had driven in from Georgia and hadn't had breakfast, but after driving home just minutes away I opened the subs and the presentation was awful hardly any salad or meat in them and the rolls looked and felt like rolls that had been sitting there for days and so so small too. I just couldn't understand why the ones we just witnessed being served to people dining were nothing like the ones we received. Also the chilli had no Cheese. Will never be going back to this location, if you cannot make the same subs with the same quality for a person dining in than for a person taking out then why bother. I feel like you gave us old rolls and didn't care just because we were taking out. The only reason I didn't get back in the car and bring them back is because I was so exhausted from the long drive we had coming in from Georgia and ended up taking 1 bite out of the sub and putting it in the trash and made my partner and I some toasted sandwiches instead. NOT RIGHT. To add to this point all the people had their rolls brought out to them to their table and when we were called to get our take out subs I said thank you twice and was totally ignored. Won't be giving it...
Read moreMy husband and I order from Firehouse at least once a week. Normally their service is good, but tonight was awful!! We placed a curbside order for 2 hook and ladder salads with extra dressing. I got to the store a few minutes early and thought I would check and see if my order was ready. The guy I spoke to said it would be approximately 5-10 minutes more. I waited another 20 minutes and still no order. I called the curbside number again, and my order had been sitting on the order ready shelf the whole time. I then proceeded to make sure my order was correct and I found 3 small containers and no dressing in the bag. Now the Firehouse dinner salads are very big usually, but what I ended up with was one of my salads, split into 2 containers the size of a small soup bowl, and my other salad was one container, the size of a small saucer. I looked shockingly at the guy who brought out my food and said "are these dinner salads?", and he said yes. I again asked "are you sure?", and he said yes. I thought for sure they had mistakenly given me side salads. I then told him that there was no dressing. My husband was livid. We buy their dinner salads all the time and these were not dinner salads. Like the old saying goes "Don't pee on my leg, and tell me it's raining". He then asked if I wanted to speak to a manager and went inside. No manager came out, so I walked in, and asked for a full refund. Needless to say, I was not happy at all with the courtesy or service at...
Read moreI recently visited Firehouse Subs at Oakleaf Plantation and had an outstanding experience! I ordered a Large Smoked Turkey sub on wheat bread, and it was absolutely delicious. The sandwich was perfectly crafted with high-quality ingredients that made every bite enjoyable.
What really impressed me was the ability to customize my order just the way I like it. I opted to have no provolone cheese, no regular mayonnaise, and no deli mustard. Instead, I chose to have normal honey mustard, and it was the perfect choice. The honey mustard added a delightful sweetness and tang that complemented the smoked turkey wonderfully. The addition of normal salt and pepper was just right, enhancing the flavors without overpowering them.
I also appreciated the pickle spear on the side, which was crisp and refreshing. The sub itself was generously portioned and well worth the $11.99 price. The wheat bread was fresh and had a great texture, providing a hearty base for the tasty fillings.
The staff at this location were incredibly friendly and efficient, ensuring that my order was prepared exactly to my specifications. The restaurant was clean and had a welcoming atmosphere, making it a great spot for a satisfying meal.
Overall, my experience at Firehouse Subs at Oakleaf Plantation was exceptional. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a delicious and customizable sub. Five stars...
