We went to celebrate my brother being departed tomorrow morning. The waitress’s demeanor was totally off as if she didn’t want to attend to us. I’m unsure what the issues was I did have a few kids in my party but I can’t help I have multiple children. We ordered our food reluctantly got our questions answered, my daughter leaned in closer so she could hear her speak and the waitress jerked back and gave a nasty look. After this all the orders were made. Another waitress came over to ask my kids age because she was unsure if we were allowed to order kids meals. My daughter is 12! Okay we get through all this the original waitress brings over the soup began to pass it out like she doesn’t want to touch us and DROPS the piping hot soup on my mom. The waitress then leaves the table I look over and she’s cleaning herself off! At this point I ask can we please have napkins everyone is looking at us like we have ten eyeballs and all we wanted was napkins to clean up soup the waitress spilled. After all this I told them to cancel our order we would be leaving. Before we got up good they brought me a ticket for the drinks we didn’t get to consume. I paid for the drinks and began to leave another waitress came over to ask what the issue was. I explained the whole issue again and I was told “oh she’s new” really!?!? Hot soup being spilled and the solution is “she’s new”. I go out and I pay for my meal and service and I expect better. Needless to say I will no longer be dining or giving my hard earned money...
Read moreWe went to 10 Zushi because we had seen that they had recently opened and we like to test out new food. I wanted Thai and my wife wanted Sashimi. We had just been to the gym and were seeking out some protein. There are other Thai/Sushi in the area but this was new (6 weeks open I think). We went early evening on a Friday.
The menu includes Sushi, Sashimi, Thai and Hibachi but there are no Hibachi tables, it is served from the kitchen. However, the menu is very interesting...something for almost everyone.
We ended up choosing to share the 10 Zashimi, which is a variety of 24 pieces of Sashimi. Prior to that we had their Miso soup, Vegetable Spring Rolls and Edamame. All of the appetizers were excellent and we wondered if they could keep up the quality with the Sashimi Main.
When the sashimi boat arrived, decorated with bamboo ornaments and flowers, it looked amazing and the taste was spectacular. I forgot to take a photo when it arrived, but I know someone took a photo so I will add that to the review later.
So a quick summary... 5/5 for the presentation 5/5 for service. Excellent service, not just from our server but a number of people checking that everything was ok 5/5 for the ingredients 5/5 for the price - you don't get great food for nothing
Without a doubt, this was the best Sushi we have had in several years and I highly recommend it. We will be...
Read moreEasily the best Asian/fusion eatery in the area. A little pricier than the others, but the food has always been very good. I usually get the hibachi chicken, and the veggies look fresh and colorful and the chicken is flavorful and tender, not cooked tough as leather like I've had at other places. Whoever is cooking, they are good! I love pad Thai, and theirs is great.
The reason why I only give it four stars is because they suffer from what a lot of restaurants suffer from in this area, and that is getting decent help. I could write a training handbook for restaurants from a customer's perspective about simple things like: after you serve someone food, come back a few minutes later to check on them in case they need a fork, or some pepper. When you have to keep getting up and asking for things because no one will come back to the table but then you realize the person serving you is at maximum mental capacity already and you feel bad for tracking them down to get a napkin. To be fair I'm just highlighting a few negative experiences but I'd say overall the food is great, it's just annoying to pay premium prices and get amateur service, but thats kinda the...
