It pains me to leave a less than 5 star review of a place I once Raved about and continuously shared on social media. My experience here yesterday was terrible. 30 minute wait for 1 açaí bowl. There were 4 girls behind the counter, and the shop was not busy when I ordered - only a couple of customers. After ordering, a few customers came in to order after me. 15-20 minutes go by, no update or sign of the açaí bowl even being started. After 20-25 mins; the customer who ordered maybe 5 mins before me seemed a little irate and told the girls behind the counter he’ll take whatever they have of his order as is. Seems like I wasn’t the only one who had slow/poor service and lack of communication on Fl juice & bowl’s end. If I knew ahead of time that there was a 30 min wait while ordering at the counter, I would have just grabbed the pre made juices and skipped ordering a fruit bowl all together. I had a clients pet’s on stand by waiting for me to get to Jax beach to tend to their needs. This 30 min set back had me worried that one of the animals I was caring for might have an accident in the house while waiting for me (plus the owners of these pets have cameras all over their house- they know what time I come and go) I can understand being slightly delayed with an order maybe 5-15 mins behind if proper communication has been displayed the entire time; but thirty minutes for one fruit bowl? Hell nothing even needs to be cooked for an order like that. I definitely saw 2 or 3 of the 4 girls just standing there behind the counter, wondering what to do while more orders were coming thru on the ticket counter. Seeing this while more orders needed to be made stressed me out for them. New employees?, the irate customer in front of me?, I don’t know what the thirty minute hold up was but I do remember coming in here early 2023 and my one acai bowl taking a very long time to receive as well (not thirty minutes, but too long for one order). This visit yesterday - once at my destination, I also noticed I had a huge chunk of frozen acai or ice right in the middle of my bowl that was not blended what so ever. The pressed juices were good. Everything photographed so well too. The fruit used was fresh. This could have been just a bad day for the shop. Given my last couple of visits here, I probably won’t be stopping in this San Marco location any time soon

Was downtown with the wife and newborn today and wanted to get something refreshing and a snack. Mind you we have never been here just did a google search and the menu looked good. We ordered the Caribbean Pittaya bowl, Sweet Toast. Egg Toast and lastly the Strawberry smoothie. The Carribbean Pittaya bowl was amazing. Both toast were delicious but the Starwberry smoothie was the worst thing I ever tasted. It wasted like old hot water that came out of the garden hose. I asked one server if it was supposed to taste like that. It had zero sweetness or taste. I could taste the dates in there but that’s only because they had chunks. The first server never got an answer for me if it was supposed to taste like that. Asked another employee before we left as we only took 4 sips and tossed it. The employee said it was their most non sweet smoothie. I asked to speak to the manager but I guess they weren’t available they should definitely take that smoothie off the menu it tasted like sewer water.

Would be 5 stars, food excellent - healthy, delicious, many vegan options, sustainable compostable plastic made from plants containers - but the prices are very high, I paid $17 for a smoothie and bowl so 4 stars. The wait for food to be ready was a bit long but I was there at peak time (Sunday afternoon). Of note the menu says "vegan aleoi" but it should say "spicy vegan aleoi" like the receipt does. It was quite spicy (though I'm a wimp about spicy so take that with a grain of salt), I would probably have picked a different sauce if the menu had said that and would have enjoyed my yummy food even more! Also, I wish there was about 1/3 less rice in the bowl and 2 or 3 times as much of the fruits/toppings, that would have made it a more balanced meal. Overall I recommend this place very highly to anyone who is not in a hurry or on a tight budget. I had (pictured): pitaya smoothie; vegan poke bowel with sushi rice, vegan aleoi (spicy), cilantro, cucumbers, ginger, mango, pinapple, and avacado

I go here all the time and it’s one of my favorite places, whether I’m spending hours in there getting work done, or simply grabbing a quick drink or bite to eat. I always see friends enjoying eating here together too. The atmosphere and employees are wonderful as well.

The menu is perfect for me to get exactly how much I’m hungry for. If I’m really hungry I’ll get toast and a smoothie, if I want a regular sized meal, I’ll get a bowl, a little bit less and I’ll get a large smoothie, for a snack I’ll get a regular smoothie, and if i really do just want a tiny bit I will get a cookie dough bite because they are absolutely delicious. As for the drinks, they are my favorite place to get matcha. Their vanilla syrup is so good, as are all their syrups, because they are simple syrup instead of all that artificial high fructose corn syrup and whatnot, just tastes like sugar and vanilla because that’s exactly what it is (plus water). I would pick them over starbucks every time.

My go to items: Build Your Own Pitaya bowl with coconunt milk base, mango, strawberries, cacao nibs, and mint (yes to coconut, granola, and honey on top) Simple Toast (normally comes with avocado, hot sauce, hemp hearts, and olive oil) with no hot sauce or hemp hearts, add coconut bacon (doesn’t taste like bacon but I’m not trying to replace bacon, I just get it because it’s delicious) Strawberry Fields Smoothie (comes with coconut milk, strawberries, dates, and vanilla) sometimes I’ll add cacao nibs Cookie Dough Bite (I cannot recommend these enough they are so delicious, they do have almond butter so nut allergies beware, and they have cacao nibs instead of chocolate chips but I love it) Iced Matcha Latte with coconut milk and vanilla (I’m not lactose intolerant, I just prefer their coconut milk)

For people complaining about the service, here’s my opinion as someone who orders online and in person and has been here at their busiest and least busy times, as well as every time in between. My online orders are always ready by the time the website says. Sometimes if I order a drink they will make it when I get there, but that’s just so it’s fresh and it’s still very fast. If I’m just ordering drinks, smoothies, and/or bites, the online order is almost always ready early. Don’t worry about missing your stuff if it’s ready early though because they keep most things in the fridge/freezer till you get there. Because of that they will wait until you come pick up your order to bag it, but it only takes a few seconds. Also don’t be afraid to ask for a drink carrier, they do have them. As far as in person orders, drinks are usually ready almost immediately. I’ve seen others complain about food taking 15-30 minutes, but I would like to point out that everything besides the bites is made fresh to order, so that is quite reasonable. Also, just because you walk up to a counter to order does not mean it should be so much faster. If this were a sit-down restaurant, no one would be complaining about the food taking this long. And yes, if you are only ever there at lunch rush, it may seem like they are understaffed, but that rush only lasts about an hour, and the 4 or 5 employees that are there is plenty for their regular level of busyness. Also there’s not a designated person to work the register, but I believe this is just so they can have the maximum amount of people working on making food when no one is coming in to order or all the orders are call-in / online. Even with that though, someone will always come over pretty quickly once you walk up. And again, the only time I ever see a huge line backing up is at peak lunch rush, so I would say they’re pretty efficient with taking orders. The employees are all very helpful with any questions you may have about the menu or giving recommendations. They are also very kind about remaking things if they make a mistake, which can be easy to do with how customizable their menu is, but despite this I have only had to have my order remade once in the hundreds of times I’ve been here.

Hope this debunks any...

First of all, I just want to say that I absolutely love this place. The food is tasty. I am a big fan of their açaí bowls. I was so thrilled when this opened down the street from me. Here is why I gave them 1 star. The past three times I've been there, they were out of coconut flakes for their bowls and I was very understanding. I said okay. I was there again this weekend and once again, they were out of the coconut flakes. When I was there the second time out of the three, they told me that they couldn't substitute any ingredients. Again, I was very understanding. The more I thought about it when I got home, the more I realized that if they are out of an ingredient and they cant substitute it with something else, then why is the price still the same?? Why am I paying the same amount of money for a bowl that's missing an ingredient??

When I went in this weekend, they told me they're out of coconut flakes. The girl who took my order said that because they're out of the flakes that there would be a deduction from the total price. I said okay sounds good. I look at my receipt after and it was still the same price.

Again, I love this place and I want to continue supporting your business but if you are out of an ingredient and your customers can't substitute with another ingredient, shouldn't the price...
