Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Jacksonville

I was there at the restaurant on 7/12 to purchase a smoothie. I wasn't greeted when I walked in and I stood there for about 5 minutes or so and during the time of waiting all I was asked was, " am I here for an online order" and they processed to keep doing what they were doing and that was not taking care of the customer. The young man doing drive thru I believe his name is Mike was asking another employee about ice and the response back was, "we don't have any ice" but I'm still standing at the register waiting for my order to be taking while the employees are going back and forth with each other about and ice issue and not letting customers know why they are waiting and at that moment the drive thru is backed up passed the door and they still haven't taking my order or just say I will be right with you. So at that moment I just didn't want anything and left. This is something that needs to be addressed with the employees. I visit this restaurant frequently but from the last couple of bad experiences I've had makes me don't want...

My experience has been very good in this place, but I was really disappointed with their service and quality. I understand that every place has policies, but this was my experience; I told the girl to give me 2 smoothies, one with ice and the other without ice, and I have ordered without ice before and they filled it a little above halfway in the cup. This time it was not like that, mine was given with ice and my husband’s was given in a small cup at first. I told the girl that I ordered a large; she went back and brought me the same thing but in a large cup, all I could do was laugh. She told me that’s how they do it, and I said, but I’m paying $18.90 for 2 smoothies and one they give me almost empty, it can’t be. I hope they understand my opinion and what...

Went to this location for the first time on yesterday with my children and was thoroughly disappointed. Our smoothie were great, however, we had to wait 20 minutes for our sandwiches and they were not good. The tomatoes were on their last leg, the bread was soggy and they just didn’t look all that appetizing. Too bad we didn’t check them before we arrived home. The young man at the drive thru was not too helpful, but the guy making the smoothies was and I appreciate him.

We usually go to the San Marco location as my children attend school in that area, but thought we’d give this new location a try since it’s on the way to our house.

Never again. Will gladly ride past this location and drive farther for better...
