Jerome Brown Barbeque & Wings — Restaurant in Jacksonville

Ditto on what everyone else has said about the service and long wait times - it's absolutely horrible!!! It's an illusion that makes you think; well if it's taking this long to prepare it must be really good! Nope! I ordered a Rib Sandwich,curly fries and bbq beans and some Banana pudding. The Rib Sandwich i was thinking would be rib meat on a bun etc. Nope! It was about 5-6 ribs sandwiched between three pieces of white bread and just drenched in their sauce! The ribs where just OK and the sauce is ? the whole thing was just a big soggy mess! The bbq beans are just nasty! Taste like a cheap VanCamps can bean knock off that had a tin tinge taste from the can they must've came out of! The Curly fries also just BAD. They were for the most part raw...hardly cooked. They actually tasted like they were partially oven baked and i didnt detect any grease. They too were DRENCHED in their sauce! More gross that i fed to the garbage can. Thank God I ordered the Banana Pudding because that wasnt half bad! It was the only thing that kept me from going hungry this afternoon!!! Oh yea! was very shocked,unpleased! waited 30 minutes for 10 peice lemon pepper drumetts!in past they were whole naked wings in lemon pepper.guess recipe has changed as customer service.they tell u pull to window to order due to the speaker not working i assume..u place order at window then pull in front in parking spot.they supose to bring food to you i was told!i was parked by red truck which he was before me they brought out his food lady seems to have issues with legs or bad knees,she then again brought out another order for before me.she never brought out my order.my daughter went in and over heard her saying she not walking that far her legs hurting something to that affect,i gusess... i would still be waiting if my daughter didnt go in and get my wings.the wings still had plenty of feathers like they just killed it and now frying it!so disappointed!this was my fave spot 3 years ago.If you having bad day,knees bad,legs bad u may wanna try something different if you the one gotta bring food out!you may wanna sit at window and take orders instead of walking them out!the lady took my order was very pleasant sweet tho! but yall gotta do better with the wings and customer service before yall be on restauraunt Report!I think someone just open shop here in their name!This cant be...

We had to wait an hour and 15 minutes just to get our order in August in Jacksonville Florida the temperature is very hot especially the time that we went to Jerome Brown they take your money and then make you wait in the parking lot in extreme HOT weather, the restaurant was not open for some reason but you could not go in and get some type of relief from the heat this is bad service and although the barbecue is good if I could have gotten my money back I would have but that would have required me getting back in the line waiting probably another hour to get up to the cashier and then getting my money back this is unacceptable to any restaurant protocol they are like Jenkins BBQ that when you go there you have to wait extreme times in the drive-thru to get your food, if you have that type of time and want to wait that long then this is the place for you other than that I'll go to another restaurant and get barbecue that doesn't taste as good but I darn sure don't have to wait an hour to an hour 20 minutes to get barbecue and the service is good I'm being waited on like I would like and I tipped very well, will not be going here anytime soon the wait is...
