Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Jacksonville

The employees here suck straight up. I walked in at 8:25 one evening and I noticed that they had the open sign turned off and had the chairs put up but it says right there on the door that they don't close until 9:00 p.m. the doors wasn't locked so I walked in and still there for a couple minutes and finally someone came around it's like oh so sorry we don't have any bread. Like just tell me you don't feel like working and I'll actually have more respect for you than to make up some stupid lie like that. And another occasion I ordered from the app to have it delivered to my house. They forgot my drink. I tried calling up there but the phone never was answered or they answered it and immediately hung up I'm not sure which. A couple days later I ordered it again off the app and this time they called me because they didn't have the type of bread I wanted which is not a big deal and I told them just to do a different type instead. I took this moment to point out that I never got my drink from a couple days ago which the employee on the line said very much in a tone I didn't appreciate that they just didn't have any when I ordered it that day. I said well look I paid for it and I want that drink so include it this time if you would be so kind. Reluctantly, very reluctantly, they agreed to include the drink that I had paid for and never received. What is wrong with these employees, this place sucks!

One last bad experience and now is it for me, I ordered a sub through doordash and when I received it it was just horrible all messed up. Like it was bathed in Red Hot Chili Sauce soaking through the wrapper through the bag. And the bacon was literally burnt. Like just about black, I couldn't believe they put that on the sub. I tried eating a quarter of it and I got sick later that night probably because of it. I called up there to complain and I said look I will drive up there even though I don't feel like it to get a new sub and I'll exchange this old one for you. This employee would not let me do that. They said that they're not allowed to just be making subs like that for free. I reiterated that I would be showing them this burnt sub and would give that to them in exchange for a new sub. Nope couldn't do it the manager couldn't be contacted so the employee wouldn't do it. I just don't get it what is wrong with this place? Jersey Mike's is an awesome franchise but this one really just doesn't have it by any means and they need to be Under New Management with new employees. One out of five stars...

This is probably the last jersey Mike’s I’d go to and it’s the closest to my home. Had 3 experiences that solidified my experience Came in late(my mistake) didn’t realize they closed at 9. Both workers look at each other and then look at me in piece it together and go my bad I’m going to go I didn’t know you close at 9. They insisted to serve me so I stayed, at this point they were forcing it with one of the workers huffing and puffing. I coulda left and avoided awkward attitude. People use pick up orders to make sure they can grab and go. I get there and they are busy, fair. I tell them I have a pick up order (it’s been 25mins since I ordered) 6 people go by before they make my order, that I have now been waiting for 30+ mins on when it was supposed to be grab n go. I would assume to prioritize the pick up order since they orders AHEAD. Ordered a just meat and just cheese sandwhich. No topping or anything - just a side of pickles. Guess what they forget…. The pickles, and this has happened multiple times. I’m guessing they see it as an easy order make it fast and then forget about any other details since the sandwhich is made by that point. The drink we order is never in the to go bag either.

Don’t go to this location unless you plan on being inconvenienced over and over again....

I would like to start off by saying I personally love Jersey Mike's. I tend to get a sandwhich from there every other week or so. However today when I was ordering a sandwhich this one specific young women was extremely rude and disrespectful. I could care less about that, I get it we all have bad days. The only reason I'm making this review is because when I got home and sat down to enjoy my sandwhich I literally bit down on a piece of glass. I thought it was maybe a hard piece of bacon... no. It was literally a broken piece of glass I pulled out of my mouth. Absolutely ridiculous... I could have swallowed that and earned myself a trip to the ER. Thankfully I actually happened to bite down on it and realized it was something that wasn't supposed to be in my sandwhich. I called the location to inform that they should throw their condiments out because I assume that's where it came from and I just got a "damnnnn that's crazy, I'll tell someone" DO BETTER JERSEY MIKE'S!!
