Read the reviews & thought this would be a good experience to try this place. WOW was I WRONG! Had a flight attendant friend fly in on a Friday late night. So we choose this place since it was open late. Always have passed by it & seen it busy. So thought that meant it was a great place to dine at. Once we arrived & we were taken to our booth. It took 15 minutes before the waitress even knew we were there to ask what we wanted to drink. And at 11:05 PM it was not like they were super busy! We asked about half price appetizers which she showed us on the menu which ones we could choose from. We choose the chips & salsa as well as the mozzarella sticks. The chips & salsa were very disappointing! No hotness to the salsa not even a bit mild. Just bland tasting. The mozzarella sticks were disappointing as well. The cheese was excellent in them. But everywhere I have gone the breading on mozzarella sticks was always Italian. The breading on these was like breading you would use on fish. Very unappetizing! I ordered the Island Chicken Grille. You would think with this being a place as advertised for island food the chicken would have had some seasoning & flavor. WOW was I wrong! It tasted like a piece of cardboard with no flavoring. If you had blindfolded me I would have never known I was eating a piece of chicken without any flavoring to it. Then to top things off. They stated 1/2 price appetizers when we got there. Then when they bring my check to me. The 2 appetizers were full price! I had to mention something to get my money back & my bill corrected. And that took 15 minutes to even get my waitress to even notice me & come back over to my table. She said it should have taken it off automatically, but it did not. And this was at midnight when leaving & hardly anyone was there. Makes me wonder how many others have eaten there & do not check their receipt & just pay their bill. And they just get your money since most people do not pay close attention to their bill thinking the place will just bill you correctly. So overall a terrible first experience trying this place & I was embarrassed having my friend who flew in for the night & me taking him here for a late night dinner!
They asked me to contact them about my bad experience. Have sent 2 emails and have not gotten back a reply yet. Shows how they really...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe stopped in to grab lunch before a Tinseltown movie. Our only second visit since they opened several years ago. I was surprised at how extremely loud it was when we first walked in. I saw a large table that had about 20 people in the middle of the restaurant. It had a different table set up than the last visit. There were high tops in the middle, low tops bar side, and a number of very large booths. It's great for groups. It's a wide open eating area and there is also a small outside area. I prefer a booth and away from large tables. Once seated, we had a small screen TV; there were large screens above our booth and throughout that had hockey, basketball, and college games on. It's like being in a stadium though- just way too loud. But since the waitress had already come to our table, we just ordered, rather than find another place in time to make the movie. My husband had the Maui fish tacos that came with rice, which he enjoyed. My meal was also good- 6 golden BBQ bone-in wings, and a few celery sticks. I ordered a small side of fries because they're baked. That's what I like about this place- the food is not fried. I didn't see a big variety of beer but mostly fruit-type drinks. The waitress was attentive with ourmy husband's water and diet coke. But, we had to wait for our check because she was too busy with the 20+ table. My husband had to take the bill to the hostess so we could pay and leave for the movie. It tends to be more for a younger to middle aged crowd but it's just too loud to hear yourself talk. We live not too far and are always looking for a place close to home to watch football games and good food. We will not return for inside dining but most probably...

They blocked my phone number from calling the restaurant š - tried calling and the phone wouldnāt ringā¦..then I changed my call settings to private, tried calling again and sure enough, the phone rings! Oh boyā¦.see original review below. Okayā¦ā¦this one is a doozy. Maybe because Iām from Canada and the food industry isnāt like that there, BUT my food was spat in at this location on January 17, 2024.
I initially had to return the Guinness flatbread that I ordered because there was some hair on it. I didnāt even think that was a big deal, it happens. I was extremely nice about it. Said please and thank you and everything. Anyway, when the new flatbread came back there was a big wad of actual SPIT right there on my pizza. It was so noticeable that my 8 year old son actually noticed it before I did.
I obviously asked to speak to the manager. She basically didnāt do anything she just said she thought it was grease (when I post the photo youāll very clearly see that is NOT grease). She said thereās no one who worked there that would do that. She did take the pizza off my bill but that was about it in terms of customer service. No real apology or care in the world about it.
My final thought is thisā¦.it seems like this is something that happens often at this establishment, and thereās no way Iām letting this go. Iāve reached out to their franchise head, and so far I havenāt heard back from anyone, but please rest assured I will NOT be letting it go.
Iām scared from this experience and will be very cautious about sending food back anywhere, ever. You guys have to...
