We have gone to other bb.q locations around Georgia and Florida so we were ready to order fairly quickly. We ordered 3 baskets of chicken and a terra but so far this location has the worst chicken and the worst service of all the locations so I’ll stick to Duluth. Chicken was not the same as the other locations and the breading was lacking that classic Korean fc crunch. Our server never came to check on us so we had no water and no beer by the time the food came by way of a food runner. We ordered the mala wings and he didn’t think to bring us water? He did show up to bring the check and my husband tried ordering a beer but the server said oh you want a beer? We are closing but I could give you a closed beer to go..? We said okay forget the beer can we get water and he’s staring at us like we just ordered another basket of chicken while they were closing. (Kitchen closes earlier than restaurant does so we did arrive an hour before kitchen closed) he took our money and was walking away so I again remind him of the water and he’s like oh you want water? We are closing so do you want water to go or are you good? We took the water to go and we were like dang I didn’t know water would stop them from closing seeing as how three other tables were still eating. He then went to the table next to us and the people eating asked for a soda but that they would let the server know when he needed it. Our same server who was basically pushing us out the door without trying to even give us water after not even checking on us the entire time we ate just responded to him, yeah sure boss no problem. The other table had a group of girls who had paid their check while we ate (tables are so close you hear conversations without even wanting to so that’s how we heard them paying while we were eating.) and they were not harrased to leave like we were. We actually ate, paid and got pushed out before they left. They did have a different server so I guess it was just ours. So our server made us feel at all times as inconveniences and also acted as if we don’t know Korean food or drinks even after I ordered in Korean without stuttering but I guess our whole table was just dumb and not worth of attention bc surely we can’t possibly know? Not sure but assumption is all I have to go by for this bad service and bad food. Even if there are issues, the lowest tip available is 18% so this kid got paid to not attend to us and push us out.
EDIT: the link provided for resolution in the response leads to a dead end so there is no one who actually follows up. It’s just an automated...
Read moreAte there today for lunch with my kids. Just opened this location last Monday. Rating this place 1 out of 10. There's nothing Korean about this wannabe place, and I'm Korean. It's not even Korean fried chicken. It's just fried chicken coated with sauce with Korean music playing in the background. Service sucks so much, and they expect a tip?? Still gave 18% tip. Wasn't worth it for this overpriced place.
How the heck do you have wings on the menu and with the pricing, tell the customer that you cannot do half one sauce and half another but tell you that an order of 2 smalls or mediums will allow you to have 2 different sauces? If I'm ordering 24-piece wings and you have a menu of sauces, how freaking hard is it to take 12 wings, sauce one way, and the other 12 to sauce it another way? You just sauce it in a metal mixing bowl. It isn't rocket science. Telling the customer that you can have your order of wings can only have one sauce is basically saying, you're thawing out frozen orders, or you have incompetent people in the kitchen. If you want to run a business, you need to know what accommodates the demand. Only able to have 1 order sauced with 1 flavor is not accommodating anyone. That's just being a cheapskate. Koreans don't even run business this way, so I doubt a Korean owns this franchise. Even the pickled radish was such a small portion that you could fit it in all in the palm of a child's hand.
Oh, and the server says that they don't have K-Foods off the menu there, but people are posting on these reviews that they had ttoekbokki there? What the heck? Either they are lying or the server just racist.
It is such a waste of time and money to treat my kids to a "Korean" chicken place. It's not worth the drive. KFC $20 meal is more fulfilling. Wasted $48 on this place.
#disappointed
Oh, I'm pretty positive that the "owner" is going to post a reply to apologize. Apologies don't mean anything if you run a business this way.. It's an...
Read moreI'm absolutely appalled and disappointed in the service I received. I will not be coming back to this establishment.
I just got off of a 12 hour shift and I wanted to come in to get something to celebrate my day. I saw that there was a line and instead of taking my business elsewhere I stood in the line for about 35 minutes with my party and I was seated. Absolutely no one made an attempt to come get our order until one of us had to flag down an employee to inquire if we're supposed to order at the counter or with a person. That employee then said "oh now you order with me I'll take your order." She took our order and then completed forgot to give us our drinks. After waiting a while in line at least you could've gave us that?
Another 20 minutes went by no drinks no water no nothing. The man that sat us down realized midway through he forgot to give me the water I requested and still took some time to get it. There was several people that were in line that were seated and already eating. We've yet to even get our fries. It took forever but the fries came out and then before our chicken was placed on the table we requested it to be packaged. After making sure our sodas were removed from the bill we left ASAP. I feel like these people pick and choose who they want to serve because I looked several employees in the eye multiple times and none bothered to acknowledge our existence. Never again.
You have multiple people in your reviews stating that service is not up to par. This needs to be addressed or hire more...
