My family "Team Us7" has been coming to this noodle shop since it opened here in Jacksonville Florida. On my social medias you can find multiple experiences we have had. But when you have one bad experience that drowns out all of the rest. I am here, today on June 19th 2024, for my daughter's 12th birthday. As we made our orders, We had the children sit down once their orders were complete to make sure we could get the long table that was empty. When it was time for me and my husband to come to the table, after we tally the bill, we told the children to wash their hands. By only moving not even 2 ft. Two white women sat down at our table. I explained by saying, "Excuse me. Our family was sitting here. We are a family of nine. The kids just got up to go wash their hands and we're here". The two women refuse to move, even when my kids were coming back to fill the seats they had already had claimed. (At this time there were at least four round tables, and two booth seats that were completely empty. So there were plenty of locations they could have relocated to after I explained everything to them, in a EXTREMELY calm manner. They refuse to move. After I came back from washing my hands. I told them, "Excuse me. My children are trying to get back in their seats. Some of us are standing up." And she said she would not move because I did not say PLEASE.. After the situation, One of the workers brought the white ladies food, before ours (even though we ordered first), And other people waiting at tables with numbers. The worker apologized to them and proceeded to walk away. But me with my mother ears. I heard the entire thing. Me and my children and my husband were appalled that he would even do that so I spoke with him. But sorry to say this will be our last time coming here, especially after I'm spending $200 just to eat some noodles just because we love the ambiance here. But we'll go all the way to Orlando before I ever come back SMH. It's sad how racism play is a big part now today. And just how far the privilege can take a person. This is a very sad situation that could have been handled a lot better. If you are going to apologize to one, please know the full story or...
Read moreIt used to be my favorite place, my husband and I went there every week and it was always just wonderful, but lately everything has worsened. First time they brought us a chicken that was 99% raw, they probably fried it only on top, for about a minute, and inside it was just raw, as if you had just defrosted it from the freezer. We told the girl about it, she apologized and refunded us the money for the order. well, we thought that 1 time nothing terrible happens to everyone. Came next time, ordered a tom yam soup and guess what? all the shrimp inside are rotten. we were really hungry, so there was no time to complain, we just put all the shrimp on a napkin and finished the soup and left without any complaints. We come to this place 3rd time, ordered Tom yam, and again the chicken inside just tastes disgusting, I dont know, just how to describe the taste. the taste is as if the chicken was fried in a frying pan without peeling, along with the feathers, and all this taste was transferred to the soup. We took a chance and tasted it and almost threw it up. We approached the employee and explained our complaint, he said that it was a completely normal smell for him, no apologies and suggestions to change the situation! We just left this place and will never come back. I'm tired of paying money for rotten food!!!
New update: the last two times or bowl were super fresh and delicious, I’m changing to...
Read moreFun environment and delicious food! Such a cute theme with the anime and DBZ memorabilia and decor. I ordered the Pho-Rieza bowl, Takoyaki and a boba drink! I’ve never had Takoyaki before (fried/battered octopus) but really enjoyed the flavor and temperature of the food! My pho bowl was delicious and full of flavor and came out hot. It was plenty for me to eat and have leftover pho. I thought I ordered a Thai tea boba but must have clicked something wrong on the order and it came out coffee flavored with coffee jelly, not boba. Still a good drink though. Fun addition of buying tokens to get a dragon ball (toy ball, cost $5). Thought it was a little steep price but a fun souvenir that my friend and I each got one. If you collect numbers 1-7 you get a poster!
It was about a 4.5 to me. Hard to decide between the stars. Only docked a star because the kiosk idea is both good and bad to me. People take a long time to order at the kiosk so line was long and then hard because it was unfamiliar and can’t ask anyone questions. Would like a kiosk line and an actual service line. (Return customers could go to the kiosk, but if you’re new you could go to a person). I’ll definitely be back though. So many types of bowls to try, loved that they put what country...
