I can finally cross "Smoothie Bowl" off of my Food Bucket List. There are plenty of places in town that offer them, but I was happy we went to this place, the atmosphere is so bright, airy and filled with Nutella cartons (I might have a slight Nutella obsession). So, for the Smoothie Bowls you pick a base option and then you pick a topping option, or you can just add your own. I went with the "Darth Vader" base which consisted of Nutella, Peanut Butter, Almond Milk, Charcoal and Banana with the "Supreme Style" toppings: Banana, Strawberry, Blueberry, Mango, Pineapple, Raspberry, Kiwi, Oats, Peanut Butter, Honey and Nutella. WOAH (said in my Joey Lawrence voice)! It was massive. And so delicious. My husband isn't a sweets person so he doesn't prefer Nutella, but he even took a few extra bites than normal because he really liked how all the flavors mixed together. And they do mix beautifully with the fresh, delicious fruit. We sat at the bar next to the counter, so I heard a lot of other customer's orders, and it seems the Acai base is the most popular. Next time I'll give that a try. They also offer juices, regular smoothies and even detox smoothies, so there truly is something for everyone. My husband actually got the Fat Burner Smoothie, and while it was fresh and tasty, it wasn't the star of our visit like the Smoothie Bowl was. They are a little pricey - $17 for that particular smoothie bowl and juice, but seriously, the smoothie bowl is huge. It easily kept my husband and I full for the majority of the day. Worth the money imo. Finally, the staff is very friendly and efficient, we didn't wait long at all for our bowl. Love this place and can't wait to make it back to try...
Read moreWent here instead of the one on Old St. Augustine Rd. and I will let you know that I prefer the one there than this one greatly! The menu for juices & smoothies have a bigger variety but the flavors for acai bowls are different here! The atmosphere is really nice and bright but the workers didn’t seem that inviting, really cold to the shoulder.
Ordered the Blue Magik with chunky monkey since I had never tried that base before. When I inquired what it tasted like, the worker couldn’t describe to me what it was or what was included- she seemed clueless. The prices seemed to vary a little bit but also got the fruittopia pressed juice. It was a lot more sour than I remember but it was good. They also don’t have a punch/stamp card at this store and only do reward points if you sign up through phone number.
The Blue Magik tasted good, wasn’t too frozen or icey, great toppings and paired really well together. They didn’t skimp out on granola one bit, there was a ton! This place is okay, deducted a star because of the lack of clear direction with the workers-...
Read moreI've been so sick. I seen that they have a flu shot. So I went. Got a double shot. The first one had a bunch of honey on the bottom, not mixed in. I shook it in, but also remembered that the employee said something about blending the honey in. So I went back in and asked for the honey to be blended into the 2nd shot. Cool. Got to my car, realized the shot was about half full, NOT how it was when I brought it in. At this point, they closed. So I seen an employee at her car & spoke to her about it, to which SHE QUOTED ME "I did put honey in it when I blended it" also told me I could have a free one TOMORROW because now we're closed. Ok thanks. Get to my car, take the 2nd shot, NOT ONE BIT OF HONEY. (I think I'd know, since the first one was incredibly sweet, the 2nd was not) my visit was at 6:50, they close at 7. Customer service, customer service, customer service. I'll come back and update my review when I get the RIGHT thing that I ordered. The shot is supposed to have lemon, honey & ginger. And my second one was lemon...
