La Marsa Grill and Seafood — Restaurant in Jacksonville

The quality of the food has gone down, while the price has gone up. I ordered the chicken bowl which is usually what I get, my food did not taste fresh. It tasted like old food that they just reheated up. They use to give you six pieces of chicken in the bowl now they give you five. Just a few weeks ago this same bowl was ten dollars and some change now it is almost sixteen dollars. I was also watching the lady make my food and I saw her itch her bonnet with the same gloves she was preparing the food with. I would like to think that she changed her gloves but again I was watching her and didn’t see her do so. The food was good before however to raise the prices up and reduce the quality of the food is a tad bit insane to me. We stopped by here last night just as we were passing through town. We were so surprised by how good and fresh the food was for the price!! (So cheap compared to smallest places in Miami)

For the food, we ordered a grilled shrimp bowl, the 10 piece grilled shrimp combo with fries +6 piece fried oysters, and a fried fish +10 piece shrimp combo w/ rice and beans and a Greek salad. The portions were great and flavorful, nothing overcooked or lacking. Fresh and nicely seasoned! Felt light after eating, not regret!

My thanes I know it's been awhile but your favorite Viking has had some med issues, but on to my adventure, we'll lads and ladies this LA MARSA is a heavenly treat of our beautiful ocean, the food was absolutely delectable, the sauces flavorful, and very filling, the price was very pleasant for 7 it was 130, they even accommodated accidentally misordering, the only issue I had was please oh please sweeten your shakes the flavor was perfect but it lacked it the sweet department doesn't have to be sugar just a sweetener, all and all you definitely will see this Viking and his horde again, till next time my thanes may your cup and coffers...
