Hibachi Express — Restaurant in Jacksonville

I prefer to order from Hibachi Express vs. other more expensive hibachi type restaurants. The price is cheaper and the food taste much better imho. 3 chicken and steak hibachi dinners to go from a more upscale steak house cost me around $80. I can go to Hibachi Express and get 3 chicken and steak hibachi dinners to go for around $50. Dinner at both places each come with a container of lettuce that they call a salad. The only difference between Hibachi Express and the other more upscale hibachi steak house I order from is hibachi expresses dinner doesn’t come with a styrofoam container filled with some type of broth, a single mushroom slice, and sometimes a leaf in it… I think they call it a soup of some sorts. It doesn’t have much flavor. I usually drink it down so I’m not wasting it but everyone else just throws theirs away every time. So I’m actually glad Hibachi Express doesn’t include the single slice mushroom broth in a cup with their order cause I hate seeing food I pay for go to waste. This place actually gets the steak temp much closer to what I asked for than other places as well. Everywhere else seems to only have one temp no matter what you ask for it’s always cooked well done. All in all Hibachi Expresses food has been great every time I’ve ordered from there and the price is much lower than any other establishment with similar food. Don’t let Express in the name fool you into thinking it’s fast or quick food done cheap. I always order 3 hibachi dinners online through menufy. They are done and ready to be picked up within 15-20 mins and taste much better than other way over priced hibachi dinners I’ve ordered from...

Wow YEAH finally a local Asian restaurant along University Blvd S small strip stores front of street with large stop shopping center behind them. Harvey's Grocery Store behind this new family owned restaurant at entrance into parking lot to them. Nice variety from usual choices like Sweet Sour Cicken, REAL WHITE CHICKEN, not processed like many use now. Great Sweet Sour Sauce. I prefer Veggie Fried Rice and Spring Roll no meat. But meat seafood lovers your covered yes Pork Fried Rice, Rolls incl Shrimp. Lo Mein too. Yum!!! Cooked FRESH. Sushi your style. I ordered Teriyaki Chicken, no carrots or broccoli. I was told that it would be an up charge of $1. I said that’s fine and asked for extra Zucchini. The lady rudely said that’s why I charged you $1 and said ok bye. I get there and my order was wrong. They gave me carrots no zucchini. I asked if they could give me zucchini on the side or remake the vegetables. After trying to blame me for the mistake, I was told that if I didn’t pay then I don’t get the food because they will not remake. Why would I pay for a wrong order 🤔.
