Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Jacksonville

Ordered from Pizza Hut on Marine Blvdtonight for home delivery. Kathleen took our order. She was extremely kind and professional. I asked her to please alert the driver not to knock on our door because it would cause our dogs to bark and wake up our Marine who is a Combat Wounded Warrior Marine. We try to keep the noise down so that it doesn’t wake him or startle him if he happens to be sleeping Sleep doesn’t come easy to him 30 minutes later we were so surprised to see that Kathleen who actually took our order over the phone, deliver the pizza personally. She said that she wanted to make sure that she delivered it personally just in case if someone else came and accidentally knocked on the door, it would wake our Marine. She was very understanding and compassionate about our request. This was the kindest gesture that we’ve experienced from a total stranger in a very long time.

Wish the world had a lot more Kathleen!!

I haven't actually been in the building, but I can tell you that their delivery services are horrible. I usually order online, and they have never been any less than 15 minutes late past the estimated delivery time. And three times they have messed my order up, usually by forgetting something like a drink or the extra sides of ranch I ordered. Once they brought the an entirely wrong pizza. They offered me store credit or a fresh pizza like I ordered free of charge. I opted for the free pizza, but that never arrived.

I am currently waiting for my order right now. Estimated delivery time was 5:51 pm, it is 6:23pm and I am just sitting here waiting. I've called already and my order is apparently already out the door. I hope it gets here soon.

The only reason they get two stars is because the food tastes like it is...

Paid $26 this evening for burnt food. I ordered a large stuffed crust pizza along with an Alfredo pasta and breadsticks. I paid $4 extra to get stuffed crust and extra cheese. All the breadsticks were tough as hell and the pasta/pizza was burnt. The pasta is stuck to the sides from being overcooked and my son could not eat the pizza. I also wasn’t about to deal with going back uptown 20 minutes up the road or go through the trouble of waiting on it to get fixed. So instead his supper was to eat the cheese out of every single piece of pizza since the crust and pizza was to hard for him to chew or swallow. I wish it would allow me to post a photo but I won’t be going back to this location for sure. Haven’t had pizza in months from Pizza Hut but wish I chose a...
