I had problems with the app (not the workers fault ofc) and my order hadn’t gone through so I had to spend a bit of time trying to sort that out, which I did in my car. The lady says “the soda machine is broken so you can only have Powerade or tea” I selected Sprite in the app and don’t like either of those so I looked around and saw the bottles and asked if I could just have a starry. She said “no, you chose the $8.99 which only gives you a cup, the bottles are an extra dollar. You saw the machine was broken when you came in.” When in fact I did not because I was more focused on trying to figure out my app. In the past, if the soda machine was broken, workers would offer me the bottle because they were aware it was out of my hands their machine was the problem and I placed my order ahead, so how would I know? I just got Powerade because I didn’t wanna deal with the argument but I recommend being friendlier to people, especially when something is not at all the customers fault. Oh and the food was old. I told them I already paid. Showed my email receipt and even my bank notification of the order confirmation. They told me to contact customer care (which talks in circles and nothing resolved). They refused to make my food even though I confirmed the correct address and paid order. They didn’t even have the courtesy to make my order due to their machine not pulling my order. Me and my husband both ordered steak subs and when I tell you I don’t even think there was HALF a scoop of meat on these subs. I’m aware they used a pre portioned scoop but I don’t even think that was half full. They made the sub look somewhat full by just stuffing it with extra veggies and barely any meat. My husband and I stop by subways FREQUENTLY and we’ve never been shorted like this before. When we tried to call the store and resolve the issue their reply was “well I did it right”.
