I hate to give bad reviews or even get into uncomfortable situations but I must do this as to vent. I am so utterly upset after our 4th visit to San Marco Dreamette at the way the visit went.
Myself and tweens have occasionally visited edgewood dreamette with outstanding service . We are trying to stay away from Dairy and tried visiting San Marco. What a disaster every time! The first two times our orders were wrong and I never said anything or complained. The 3rd time I wasn't feeling well stayed in my car and my older daughter did our order. It was absolutely wrong. Upon her taking it back they made it wrong 2 more times and I got so angry I just went myself to the front which the manager attempted to fix it. The order is simply a dipped Vegan Cone with toppings in the cup which is a normal order at the other location. They put the toppings on the side, the cup they put it in is too little and it spills everywhere. This last time around we tried one more time and it was the worst encounter yet! The order was said clearly, I had to go back up where the same manager walked up and told me since they can't get the order right do not come back. I asked why is it so hard to put a dipped cone in the same cup as the toppings? People are leaving and driving and cannot hold two cups and toppings usually go with the item not on the side. ( I also had it spilled all over my jacket by that time)
It's common sense and easy to make. I understand mistakes are made but active listening must not be happening or they just make the orders different. We ordered just how we explained and got different things on multiple occasions.
I don't appreciate the manager getting upset back at me and telling me not to come back. Obviously I'm upset at the situation and numerous times it keeps happening. He actually told me just go back to edgewood. I shouldn't be reprimanded for the location or the reason why I go to that location. His concern should be why are you putting a ice cream dipped cone in a small cup so it spills everywhere and the toppings aren't even with it?
I am upset and disappointed I was made to feel at fault and not to come back. If your managing teens who do shotty jobs, don't actively listen or just don't know, train them to think and do things with common sense. Do not be easily offended when people had tough days and something so simple was made into a aggravating upsetting situation. A simple dipped cone in a large cup with toppings in the cup turned into a nightmare.
People get upset when stuff is wrong over and over. Don't take it personally and who ever told you to tell people to not come back. That's not leadership or good management . I didn't cuss or be disrespectful but state my annoyance and distain. San Marco can't get it together and of you don't order something beside a plain cone I'm positive the order will...

Prices are a little high which I wish they could slightly lower, but you are generally served quality product. They generally employee High school or fresh out of high school aged workers which is OK. Many of them are friendly, but today (a little bit past noon on 5/10/25) I just had a girl ring me up who look like she did not wanna be there, she could not crack a smile with me or anyone else and skipped over any type of friendly greetings. Before making my selection, I asked her a few questions and it seemed like asking questions just annoyed her. It is unfortunately one of those situations where it feels like she just did you a great favor by even taking your order. It was a female with straight longer hair, a little above mid back with highlights of lighter blonde. It stays on my receipt that my server was āPaul E.ā which is obviously not correct. Obviously, I want a place that I get food from to have a nice atmosphere, be very clean, have good food, decent prices, but I put the most emphasis on *good customer service, which is becoming very hard to find this day and age. But when people do provide great customer service, it stands out a lot because so many places do not have good customer service at all. For the money that I pay for this ice cream it just seems like that I should get friendly Customer Service and so should ALL the customers!! In all my jobs where I have dealt with the public, I always treat them with respect and no matter how bad I feel or what problems I am going through. I always make sure to give a smile and greet a customer with friendliness. It really is not a very hard thing to do, and people donāt realize that it goes a long way, and it makes a business stand out from the rest because people will want to go back...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to this ice cream parlor and had the most awful experience. Normally, I come here at least 3-4 times out of the month as I live not far and work right next door. Monday, I ordered my ice cream and the guy offered me a punch card. Yesterday, I went to get my ice cream and the girl did not offer nor did I remember to get a punch card nor bring my punch card recently given to me. Today, I went to get my ice cream and asked a lady about my punch from yesterday. She tells me she can't give me a punch unless I got a receipt. I said would my bank transaction on my phone be sufficient, I can show you that. I did not get a receipt. She then says I would not be able to honor the punch on your card because how do I know that you did not already get a punch from yesterday. I said, "Lady, there is only one punch up here from the guy from Monday and I left this in my desk yesterday when I came here. However, the girl offered the lady in front of me one but didn't offer me one." She apologized and said, I understand but I will not be able to honor that. So, I told her, no thank you. I do not need to get ice cream from this business, if you really think I will lie about a punch on a card for ice cream. First and foremost, I do not need to lie about a punch being given to me on a card that clearly only showed one punch that I got Monday. Secondly, to insinuate that I could be lying was offensive. Lastly, after two years of coming here regularly, I will no longer spend my money here. I hope next time with evidence of the transaction and/or receipt (most people get receipts to their phone with electronic payments), your employees know that not everyone is trying to scam them or lie to them about a punch on a card.
