I have been going to this tropical smoothie for almost a year and a half for my lunch break I called my order in most of the time they know they know me they know my name they say hey Alex for the longest you know they know exactly how I want my order I spent about $13 each smoothie because I add pea protein I add Energizer I add kiwi sometimes I sub mango for banana the pomegranate plunge which also by the way they have brought the price up anyhow I called my order in today for my lunch which I only have a 30 minute window and I tell them that I need my usual and when I get there and I pay for my smoothie they forgot to put pea protein so I asked if they can just put it back in the blender and add the pea protein and she said that's fine but once I got it back cuz oh yeah I had to pay a dollar and seven cents even though they messed up my order and I only had 30 minutes on lunch basically so I had to sit there and wait once again I taste it my smoothie as I was walking out and I stopped as soon as I got to the door took another taste and it was bitter so I already knew I could barely taste the strawberries it was barely pink like not pink enough like they put them right amount of ingredients and then I was giving an excuse that it was because I put pea protein unfortunately pea protein is not the same thing as whey protein okay it does not cloud the flavor like whey protein does whey protein is thicker I go to the gym regularly I know this and I get the same drink all the time and in the past they have previous management if I had any issues which I barely ever did but if I did don't they would write my name in a book because you know sometimes I left and the next time I got a free smoothie you know or they're remake it whichever but they always help me out but this manager short stubby fat guy he's the assistant manager he's an exceptionally rude he didn't even know the whole situation first off because he didn't know he didn't know that she just took my smoothie that they didn't have the protein and added pea protein put it back in the blender and then put it back in the cup so they didn't actually throw the old one away so he said what I'm going to do is I'm not going to make you another smoothie I'm just going to refund you the money I said what excuse me let me speak with the other manager which is the general manager he is a thinset I wouldn't say petite but he's the thin guy with a mustache and tattoos on his forearms now I thought he was going to be helpful but sad to say he was not it's sad to say that he gave me the same answer a refund because he refused to make me another smoothie even though they were the ones that made the mistake even though I have spent thousands of dollars there like no consideration for customer value or customer service I didn't get a smile I didn't get to say oh I apologize how can I help you none of that they're rude and considerate and it just seems that they don't even like talking to people because they do not have people skills whatsoever I will not be going back to the store unless something is done they know who I am guy go there all the time for my lunch break it's as a regular so I'm putting this out there they do not care about making your smoothie the right way that you want it doesn't matter that they charge you extra for the add-ins that you want I will go to a different tropical store the one on south side or Old Saint Augustine maybe cuz those are the ones that go to because I live by that that them I only go to this one because it's close to my job on lunch unbelievable I had to take my smoothie basically steal it because they were forcing me to take a refund that could possibly take up the five to seven days and they ripped the label off so I guess what so nobody can see that they were in the...

When I called the store I was told by the manager after he took my name and number he would call me back and I explained that it would be ok with gift cards since I shop at tropical smoothie almost daily. I never received any giftcards or a call back. So I will never shop at this tropical smoothie ever again.
so I decided to give this location another chance even though they never resolved my last issue I had. I ordered my smoothie online atleast 15 minutes before I left to pick it up, its about a 10 min drive so about 25 mins to make one smoothie. So I arrive an its not ready. I express under my breath but still loud enough to be heard that "this is exactly why I stopped coming to this location" I shop at a tropical smoothie almost every single day. So I spend my fair share of money with this company. A lady who claimed her name was Catherine over heard me voice my displeasure. She said excuse me when I told her what I said she told me that if that was the case then I am not welcome there again. I explained to her that in my 20 to 30 years of high volume restaurant experience that I have never seen a store run so poorly. They had about 8 employees on shift at this time but only 4 were actually working. Read moreI went to this location after my workout I got there at 8:45pm I went in and the staff looked at me like they were surprised to have a guest at this time. No greeting or anything the staff look at each other and the the young lady Rachel asked how can she help me after the fact. I was coming for my usual a smoothie and I wrap when I looked at this location it was as if they were closed already every last one of the smoothie machines had chemical on them like they were cleaning them all and it was cleaning supplies on the counter as well. Rachel who said she was a shift lead told me she can have the guy clean them off and make my smoothie I replied ma'am you have foamy chemicals on the smoothie machines and I don't feel safe with that not having a full cleaning. She rolled her eyes and said ma'am nothing is going to get inside the smoothie because the smoothie mix is inside the blender. At this point you really don't want to help me she walked away and kept doing what she was doing. This is not how you handle a guest.
