Lisa is to be trusted with your hair. I am not one to spend a lot of time on my hair but she made it fun and easy. When I started seeing her I had very long purple hair, which before a corporate interview she took to my natural brunette and chopped off 8 inches. We then turned around a few months later to start the journey to platinum. And I mean journey! so Much time and effort went into getting the hair of my dreams, there were nights we shut down the salon, I’m talking 7+ hour appointments, and she never made me feel rushed and was always positive. This review is long overdue. I have been seeing Lisa for my hair for years but there was a break for a while when she moved to Florida again and I hadn't yet realized she was coming back to NYC every so often. Now that I know, I will never go anywhere else again. I will go to Lisa wherever she goes (well, traveling NY to FL was a little tough) but you get the picture. She is a hair magician. I have hair I'd consider "meh" but I always feel like a goddess after I have my hair colored and cut by Lisa, and I don't know how she does it. Finding Rose Darling Salon was a total blessing!!! Coming from Austin TX, where talent seemed to be over flowing, I never thought I'd find something or someone equivalent here. But I was wrong!! Lisa is crazy crazy talented. She takes the time to hear me out before she does anything and then she executes with precision and beauty! I feel lucky to have found her.
